The desktop and monitor shelf are awesome. Not sure what it's made of but it cleans nicely. Didn't leave a water ring from my drink.The screw inserts are great but the threads need to be cut cleaner. Take your time about starting them.It's a winmer!

I started work from home so I have it set up with two large monitors. It was honestly really easy to set up but I don't think there were specifics on which way to face one of the bars so you could add the monitor stand/shelf portion and I ended up putting it on backwards and having to start over entirely but it took me so little time, it was hard to be upset. I even used the little allen wrenches it came with without any issues. It does wiggle a tiny bit when I get typing bur my monitors are really heavy and I think most desk this size and prize range would do this. Overall it'd be great for a teen or a casual desk or if uou just need a space for a laptop but I think I'll be mounting my monitors on the wall if I continue to use this one.

I'm really impressed with this desk. I ordered rustic brown and was worried about how it would look because in the product photos the black and wood seem to clash a bit. It actually looks great in person, much better than the photos. The surfaces are smooth and undamaged. It's also pretty sturdy, doesn't feel flimsy or cheap at all.It wasn't too difficult to put together. The instructions were well written in good English and the illustrations were really helpful. The instructions provide two different options for assembly: The bottom shelving on the left side or the right side. You also have the option to install the upper shelf on the left or right side of the desk. At first I installed the upper board at the highest setting because I thought I might use it as a shelf, but I later changed my mind and decided to use it as a laptop stand, so I moved it down to the lowest setting. You just need an allen wrench to move around the screws on the back to adjust it. You can see the two different heights in my photos.There are only two minor cons that I can think of. One is the hanging basket on the side. It doesn't really match the rest of the desk and seems like it's just a cheap substitute for having an actual drawer. However, it's easy enough to just leave it off so it's not a big deal. The other thing is that because the back and sides are so open, there will be no hiding cords with this desk. If you have a lot of stuff plugged in it will look messy quickly.But honestly this desk is a really good value and higher quality than I was expecting. I'm really happy I ordered it and I could see myself using it for many years.

I accidentally put it on backwards and had to restart, but the process was quick enough that it wasn’t a big issue. The included allen wrenches worked well for assembly. The desk does have a slight wobble when I type, which I attribute to the heavy monitors; I suspect most desks of this size and price range would exhibit similar behavior. Overall, it’s a good option for a teenager, casual use, or if you just need a spot for a laptop. If I continue using this desk, I’m considering wall-mounting my monitors to address the wobble.
