Looked great for a quick tan (applied with a tanning mit) but it totally came off in the water. I'm breastfeeding so can't do a perma-tan, so this gave me enough confidence to walk into the pool party in a bikini!

Just buy one if Tan Luxe's other greatProducts (the gradual butter..all are INCREDIBLE!!) Just realize; obviously..instant results are almost never the best option.

Many years ago I purchased an instant bronzer at Rite Aid because I was going to a pool party. Honestly, I have never been so embarrassed in my whole life. The stuff, although I applied quite carefully, lookeda little like a brown, smeared finger painting. What was even worse was, when I was sitting on my friends lounge chair, some of the brown came off on her furniture. I was mortified.Since that humiliating day, I have been super hesitant to ever try instant bronzer again. However, I love Tan-Luxe’s products, so I decided to take a risk and I’m so glad I did! I’m extremely fair scanned, and I’m older so I have relatively dry skin and a couple of brown spots in different areas of my legs. I found myself going to event where I wanted to wear a shorter dress but I forgot to pit on tan the night before. So, it seemed as good a time as any, to try the instant hero tan. I have to say, it is absolutely amazing. It went on extremely smoothly. They were absolutely no smears or areas of uneven color. I didn’t even have to work very hard to get a nice smooth clean look, it just went on that way naturally. Once on, it doesn’t look like you put a bronzer on, it literally looks like you have been in the sun and have a nice evening bit of coloring. Because I am so fair, one coat works well for me. Since I’ve had such a nice success, next time I will probably try to get a little bit deeper color and add a second coat. Another thing that surprises me is that the color really lasts. It doesn’t rub off on peoples furniture, or my clothing, and it stayed on until I bathed.Yes, this product cost a lot more than its competition, but it is worth every penny. I want to look tan, not like I have some sort of brown dirt rubbed all over my legs, and that’s exactly what I get with this product. There is not a single telltale giveaway that this is anything but the result of natural sunshine.If I could give this product ten stars, I would.
