ESR Cyber Tough for iPhone 16 Case with Flex Stand, Black

I’m really impressed with this phone case. The quality is excellent. It fits my iPhone 17 perfectly, the buttons are responsive, and it provides great protection without adding a lot of bulk. The material feels durable and has a nice grip, making it comfortable to hold. The built-in kickstand is a great feature. It’s sturdy, holds the phone securely, and works great at all angles whether I’m watching videos, on a video call, or browsing the web. It feels solid and doesn’t wobble. The green color paired with the orange iPhone 17 looks absolutely awesome. It’s a unique combination that really stands out and gets compliments. If you’re looking for a well-made case with a reliable kickstand that looks great and offers excellent protection, I’d definitely recommend this one.

I had an ESR case on my iPhone 16 plus loved it. I switched to the 17 pro max and got this case for it. Camera button built into the case is simply awesome, works perfectly. A strong dependable case I won’t use anything else from now on. Looks awesome, goes on easy, perfect fit, nice strong magnet. I got it in black. It hides every millimeter of my beautiful silver phone, but that means it’s got me covered. You will love this case.

Short version: need a case for an iPhone 18 Pro Max or 17 Pro Max? Just buy it. It comes in other sizes too. Want details? Okay, here goes... I have had various iPhones since the first iPhone. In fact, I still have my iPhone from the very first batch ever released — but that’s another story. The point is, with all those iPhones came a whole lot of cases. Bulky cases. Slim cases. Hard cases. Soft cases. Clear cases. Tactical cases. And absolutely everything in between. Why? It just happens that I like iPhone cases. Why? I have no idea. I just do. And as it turns out, this ESR case is one of the nicest cases I have EVER had or seen. Of course, this is completely subjective. If you want a case that is so thin it feels like it’s not there, this is NOT that. But it is also not so bulky that it feels like a Sumo costume or the Michelin Tire Man is stuffed in your pocket. So... let’s get into it. The case fits perfectly. It goes on easily and also comes off easily without making you feel like you need tools to pry it off — but once it’s on, it stays on and is not going anywhere. This case looks and feels solid. It is made from PC, TPU/TPE and zinc alloy, with a rigid back, flexible shock-absorbing bumper material and reinforced impact protection. ESR rates it for 26-foot, SGS-certified military-grade drop protection, with reinforced Air Guard corners and additional internal shock-absorbing material. No I did not try out the 26 foot drop!...I'll take their word for that part...😉 The zinc alloy is used around the camera bump, where the protective ring also doubles as a kickstand. Yes, there are other cases with camera-bump kickstands, but this one is particularly well designed. It feels sturdy, looks good, folds flat when not in use, and works in both portrait and landscape positions. ALL the buttons are completely covered, which I consider a big plus because covered buttons mean less dust getting into the case. All the buttons are responsive, including Camera Control. There also appears to be a zinc-alloy ring around the Camera Control area. The USB-C port has a hinged cover — another feature I specifically look for to keep dust out. I use magnetic charging most of the time, so I do not need frequent access to the USB-C port. When I do, the cover opens easily, but not so easily that it flips open on its own. It stays shut until you deliberately open it. The MagSafe connection is excellent. ESR specifies up to 1,500 g of magnetic holding force, and in use the connection feels strong and secure with chargers and other magnetic accessories. There is a nice raised screen edge, which I appreciate because I learned long ago that when placing an iPhone down on a desk, nightstand, or other hard surface, it is often safer to put it screen-down rather than camera-down. Things are less likely to fall directly onto the display that way. Lesson learned the hard way many years ago. The case also accommodates a good glass screen protector without interfering with the fit. It is grippy in all the places it needs to be, with textured sides and a matte finish overall, so it does not become a fingerprint magnet. The corners have extra reinforcement without making the phone look like it is wearing shoulder pads from the 1980s. And here is one of my favorite little details: the speaker openings at the bottom have tiny mesh speaker grilles inside them. Usually, even when the buttons and charging port are covered, the speaker openings are left completely exposed. Not here. Bravo, ESR. 👏 Those little grilles help keep dust out, and they do NOT noticeably distort or interfere with the sound - like those waterproof cases that cover speakers do. I love the color and the fit of this easy to install case. Yes, I know it’s durable because my phone has fallen a few times. Unfortunately, I had to replace it in less than one year of use because of a certain issue, which is why I didn’t rate this case five stars. I recently started trying to use my rear cameras but noticed this artifact on my screen. I rarely use the built in stand, but it has gotten loose and sometimes swings open and obscures the camera. Besides that one flaw, it’s an incredible case that protects the phone while giving full access and functionality to the buttons on the phone.

Great case, saw a great review of it from a guy that does projects on his farm and posts reviews to you tube.... Pros: Good texture, has port cover to keep dirt out of the USB-C port, buttons require appropriate amount of force IMO, you won't accidentally activate them unlike the first case I tried. Stand is a cool design, feels sturdy, should last. Provides good protection for the cameras and face. Works well with screen protectors. I got the black color, the orange from the phone is still visible around the lenses, but otherwise you can't tell what phone you have. Magsafe charging works great, strong magnet. Cons Is kinda chubby, I have larger hands and it requires a bit more stretch than I'm used to. Maybe a little heavy? It's not bad. I'm used to an otterbox and this seems sleeker than that and better built, had to get a warranty replacement on my otterbox, needed a second replacement, but swapped phones instead.

This iPhone case is so good! Installation was a breeze, and the screen protection it offers is outstanding! The grip on this thing is amazingly comfortable! I find myself always enjoying it so much! The size is perfect and it fits like a glove on the iPhone as well. The pricing is good for the value compare to other brands ESR hits the sweet spot. I have to say that the stand feature is nice but I rarely use it if at all, the closing of this stand is nice and well built. I completely recommend this case above many many other brands to anyone with an iPhone 16 Plus.

This ESR case is high above my expectations. I have an iPhone 17 pro case and it fit perfectly. The camera control button is great. On the outside corners there are airbag corners to help with shock and impact drops. The case feels amazing in hands. I think it has one of the most satisfying textures especially on the back. I haven’t tested MagSafe. I am hoping it holds up. I haven’t dropped my phone either so I can’t speak about drop protection. In my opinion I think the case will perform great if dropped. Something that surprised me was at the bottom on the speakers there is a mesh wall protecting them. I find that really cool. If you put your phone in your pocket or bag there won’t be dust and crumbs sticking to the speakers. My past phone’s speakers had a bunch of dust and grime that stuck to them. This mesh works to protect them. The charger has a flap that protects it from accidents. I love that the flap doesn’t close hard like otterbox cases. I was worried about the charger port getting messed up. That fear is gone due to the flap on this case. The cameras are not cut off by the rims surrounding it. I have tested it and it is all perfect. The stand works great. I love that feature about the case as well. I watch shows and movies on my phone often. All you need to do is put your phone in the case. There are no extra steps. It is one solid case with no extra parts. It took many hours to decide on what case I would buy for my iPhone 17 pro And I am very happy that I chose this case. I will definitely be buying from them again. My opinion might change if it doesn’t hold up in an accidental drop. This is an honest review about my experience with the case. To be fair, this is a well-designed case from an aesthetic standpoint and covers every base that I wanted in a case. It is well thought out and has a lot to offer from a protection standpoint. However, the only issue I have with this case is the build quality/material usage. On the one that I received I loved it for 4 months, but within month 5, both the plastic surrounding the charging port and the backer behind the phone have broken. If they could make the exact same case but with more durable materials, I would say its the best of the best. However, to have 2 different areas falling apart in under 6 months just isn't acceptable. If at some point they make this case with for example a carbon fiber charging port surround and a more durable backer, done and done, buying one for every phone I get. Just not there yet. For the price, it is hard to beat, but one step away from being the best case one can buy.

Hoewel ik eigelijk nooit klachten heb over de produkten van ESR, meestal ben ik tevreden, viel me deze hoes tegen. Binnen een jaar na aankoopdatum was de hoes al te wijd (dus geen goede pasvorm meer) voor de iPhone 14 Pro. Hierdoor werkte de wireless charging ook niet meer goed. En was de bescherming ook niet meer optimaal. Ook was de transparante hoes al licht aan het verkleuren. Ik had hem onder garantie wellicht kunnen terugsturen, maar dat heb ik niet gedaan.

Weve got our own preferences and its always been my preferred case, bulky. Having said that, its tricky to use a non holder type magnetic wireless charger since its a bit on the heavier side. But again, it serves its purpose which is to protect your phone.

Had one of their cases for my iPhone 15 and it’s amazing! I dropped my phone so many times and with a screen and camera lens protector on they kept my phone like new. For the 16 I got the case with the stand and this one has more layers of protection than my last case but so far I love it too. The MagSafe connection is amazing and super strong! Even if the phone falls while plugged in, it stays connected to the MagSafe cord and doesn’t come unattached and drop to the ground. Highly recommend the case, for the price you can’t get any better.
