Best bang for buck when it comes to electrical probing. Back in the day I was using Power Probe's equipment and yes it gets the job done but with this Autel one it changes the game. With all the functions and features that this probe brings it's needless to say that electrical diagnosis will get easier; of course if you know what you're doing. In the department of design it feels familiar as the one from Power Probe since the design of the body is quite similar. When it comes to build quality I can certainly say that it's sturdy and feels high quality in the hands. When used it greets you with different options to measure voltage, ohms, continuity and other electrical diagnosis. Something that threw me off from this was the cycle duty which I genuinely did not expect it to have so I don't really have to use a multi-meter. Needless to say, whether you're a mechanic, electrician or something along those trades this tool is definitely an amazing buy!

Tester works well and is a nice addition to my diagnostic tool chest.

got this to replace a power probe 3 that quit working. found this is a very good option for replacement as its about half the price. this is almost the same as the power probe in that the power probe accessories fit this perfectly. the extensions and probes are the same. this seems to be accurate in voltage measurement. display is large and colorful and the beeper will tell you whether you have power or ground with different tones. this also has the a/c measurement and resistance that the power probe doesn't. seems to be well built and doesn't feel cheap.

Good test equipment for the money. Love the extension cables when working on trailer wiring.

I love this tool. I've been working as a tech for a couple of years now and everybody swore to me that I would need the more expensive brand... then I found this from a trusted name in Automotive Diagnostics. Its got all the features you're look for. Nice bright easy to read screen. My co-worker who has the more expensive brand for years was a bit jealous of the features compared to his, then I told him how much I bought it for. It's on his list now.

Works great, good amount of length in the cables for tractor trailers. Big time saver. Mine got soaked and ruined so I’m ordering another one. Very accurate tool, almost identical readings to my Fluke meter. You don’t need the name brand I promise. Great amazing budget buy.

Wasn’t going to bother leaving a review seeing there’s already so many good reviews. But, I have to. This thing is GREAT! I personally like it better than power probe. My power probe broke from dropping it too much and I replaced it with this and am very impressed.

I will start with what I like with this probe, and then the two minor annoyances. - The cable that this probe comes with is very flexible, even at low temperatures, and does not tangle easily. - The display is clear to read under all light conditions. - The battery clamps on this probe are better than what I had expected and better than on many other tools or chargers I have. - Having a 12V cigarette lighter plug is a bonus. - Best of all. The top piece of this probe (that you are supposed to remove for storage) has a connector that is compatible with pretty much any multimeter. If you need to reach a location where you would not be able to read the display, just borrow a cable from your multimeter to reach and use the probe as otherwise intended. Now to the two minor annoyances. - The tone is too loud for my taste. While it is great to be able to hear if you have a negative/ground or power, I think that I will end up putting a piece of tape over the speaker opening to make the sound less shrill. - I wish that there was a way to turn off the two LED lights on the top. There are low light conditions where you may not want to impede your vision by having unnecessarily bright lights around.
