TRANSFORMERS ONE is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever. In the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers movie, TRANSFORMERS ONE features a star-studded voice cast, including Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, with Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.

The Transformer Movie Diehard Fans Deserve!
I had heard very little buzz about this movie leading up to it’s theatrical run and it seems it went largely unnoticed upon it’s release, which is a shame given that it’s an absolute gem of a film! I had decided to give it a chance after watching a positive review from a trusted YouTube channel and purchased this 4K release to watch with my grandkids, and well, we all thoroughly enjoyed it! For the record, I am a child of the ‘80s and grew up watching all of the after school cartoons (including Transformer) so I do have a built-in affinity for the franchise, but honestly, this is the best Transformers movie I’ve seen since “Transformers: The Movie” in 1986! The plot is completely accessible for new fans and old, thanks to the solid storytelling, and the animation is stunning! This really is the best medium to tell a Transformer’s story through, nothing against the live action movies that preceded it (although, I’m not a fan of many of those past Michael Bay’s first outing), the digital animation just opens up possibilities unattainable with the limitations of current CGI and real world settings. Plus, we finally have a movie about the robots themselves without any human side characters! I won’t spoil the story, as it is well worth your time to experience first hand, but I will say that the 4K video and Dolby Atmos audio knocked it out of the park! Give it a chance if you love all things that are ‘more than meets the eye’!

A fantastic movie!
When I first saw the teaser trailer for this movie, I wasn’t interested in seeing it at first. But after watching some clips of it on YouTube, I changed my mind about it.This is a movie Transformers fans everywhere can enjoy! I love this movie as much as the G1 movie and the live-action films.

Awesome transformer story
A great Transformer movie I almost overlooked due to animated. Glad I read the reviews as this is an excellent story of the birth of Transformers and the decepticons. The 4k Dolby Vision looks stunning on my LG OLED. my only complaint is the Dolby Atmos is lacking and sound more like standard 5.1 sound. I’m listening on a 3700 watt 11.6.4 system and although it sounds good it’s a missed opportunity of the Atmos technology. No height effects or moving around channels 😕This movie has some big names behind it including Michael Bay and some A level talent doing voices. Overall 4.5 and I’m glad I bought it as I have and watch all the Transformer movies. They are all great movies except “rise…” IMO.

The BEST Transformers Movie of All Time!
Transformers One is an energetic, hilarious, inspiring origin story for Optimus Prime and Megatron. It's a zero-to-hero story that deftly balances drama and humor as well as pacing and world-building. While it's not the most complex or nuanced movie you've ever seen, for an origin-story CGI-animated action-adventure, it's pretty much as perfect of a movie as you could want.I'm an OG Transformers fan, as I was eight when the first G1 toys came out in the US. I loved the cartoon as a kid and saw Transformers: The Movie in theaters. TF: The Movie had great moments, but it really wasn't a great movie. Sure, we all got the big final showdown with Welker's Megatron and Cullen's Optimus Prime, and we had the inspiringly cheesy 80s music to jam to, but the movie's second act was bloated and boring--be honest. Transformers One is a better movie than TF: The Movie '86. The voice acting is top-notch (although lacking the classic voices forty years later--go figure!), the animation is spectacular, and the story is rock solid. My teenaged son and I laughed many times, but unlike stinkers like Thor: Love and Thunder, Transformers One knows when to crack a joke and when to take itself seriously. As a result, we were fully able to take the serious parts seriously and laugh at jokes that were actually funny. While I was anxious to see "final form" Optimus and Megatron, I was never, ever bored in this movie. The 4K disc provides beautiful HDR picture and immersive Atmos sound. The package also includes a blu-ray disc, which too many media companies are omitting these days. All-in-all, this was the best entertainment value per dollar that my famiy has had in years and years--since the glory days of the MCU, really.

Okay movie, great steelbook
I mostly got this for the box art. Unfortunately I wasn't a huge fan of the movie. The setting is great and there are a lot of cool lore bits, but its one of those movies that has to be funny every second. If you were to remove bumblebee, it would probably hit a great balance between children's movie and something an adult fan could enjoy. As it is, it often just feels silly. I do hope they continue to make movies within this setting and the pure focus on Transformers on Cybertron, but I think it needs to refocus on YA science fiction and less slapstick.

A must have for all transformers fans.
This is a really good movie exploring the origins of iconic characters. In cgi that can only be described as stunning. I could not recommend this movie more if I tried.
