No it does not drip, it is a very nice, sturdy teapot exactly as you would expect

Does it keep the tea warm for long?

I use a tea cosy and it does stay hot for about 15-20 mins from start, I am very very happy with this teapot, best I have ever owned and we are big tea drinkers.
