I got this as a gift and I was really impressed at the thread quality, sometimes kits don't have very high quality thread but this came with DMC thread, so if you ran out or lost some of the kit, you could always buy more!

I love this kit! It comes with everything I could need. Was looking to get into cross stitching and loved the idea of a bookmark to be usable. I bought a different pair of scissors because the ones it came with were kinda dull. But other than that no complaints! I love how the color is painted on for ease of stitching. It didn’t come with great instructions but I watched a few YouTube videos and figured it out

Very cool design. It's not very easy to tell the colors apart tho which is annoying. Would be hard for kiddos I'm 35, and took me 7 hours to do one and I've done a lot of cross stitch. Doesn't tell you what the foam is for or how to use it. I kinda figured it went on the back but it wasn't stated in instructions. Instructions are vague. Doesn't tell you how many strands to use. Pretty big size for a book mark and thick.

This is a beautiful kit. The colors really pop and the quality is very good.

Some of the colors are hard to distinguish from each other on the patterns and the instructions aren’t very helpful. The felt also isn’t the same size as the bookmarks, and gummed up my needle when trying to do a border. I also noticed that after washing the pattern away at the end, there was some color bleed that muddied up the yellows. I don’t think I’ll wash the others and I’ll just use my own felt for them. Otherwise, the designs are pretty and fun to do.

These are really pretty when done - I have completed two of them and look forward to the others. The only complaint I would have is some of the dark colors on both the pattern and the cross stitch itself are hard to distinguish. I had to keep an extra light (I used a head lamp) so that I could differentiate the different dark colors.

I think it's the adhesive backing that's really stinky. 4 stars for that. The patterns are printed on the aida. It can be difficult to tell some shades apart so also check with the sheet of paper it comes with. The thread is a bit thinner than regular DMC but I haven't had much of an issue with fraying aside from the very end. Overall a good value and relatively easy and quick to complete one.
