Would recommend this little heat press. I've used it for a few months and I've been satisfied with each use. Variable temps and quick heat up. Easy to press small items and so convenient. Base is nice...handle is sturdy, and it's just the right size.

I cannot begin to describe how thrilled I am with this little heat press! After owning two mini Cricut heat presses and one HTVRONT, I can confidently say that the XTool has surpassed all my expectations. While my experience with the HTVRONT was disappointing due to the frustrating temperature control that often stuck and the uncomfortable design, the XTool has proven to be a game-changer. The HTVRONT only lasted a month, which added to my frustration. As for the Cricut presses, they were reliable as expected, but the XTool brings a new level of efficiency and comfort that I didn’t know I was missing.What really stands out about the XTool is how quickly it heats up, allowing me to dive straight into my projects without the usual waiting around. Its design is not only comfortable to hold but also just slightly larger than the Cricut, which gives me a better grip and more control during use. This little press has become an essential part of my crafting routine, and I genuinely can’t imagine going back to my old tools. I love this neat little press so much that I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering a heat press for their projects. If you’re looking for efficiency, comfort, and performance, the XTool is undoubtedly the way to go!

I ordered this thinking it would be suitable for smaller projects that aren't worth setting up my full-size heat press for. The small size ended up being less useful for standalone projects than I'd hoped, but it more than makes up for it with how handy it is at fixing problems. I can use it to re-heat a small section that did not adhere correctly or needs to be shifted slightly without risking damage to the whole design. Brilliant!

I love the xTool Mini Heat Press Machine! It's small, easy to store, and heats up really fast. Perfect for little projects like baby clothes and hats. Super simple to use, even if you’re new to heat pressing. Great buy for anyone working on small crafts!

I want to start by saying I also have some other brands of small handheld heat presses similar to this, but this one is by far my favorite!The first thing to note, is my first time plugging it in, there was no unpleasant smell. Some of my other heat presses had a weird electrical smell upon heating it the first few times, but not this one.Right away when using it, I can tell you it's super comfortable to hold in your hand and feels substantial and sturdy. The handle stays cool to the touch even when heated for a while, which was very reassuring. You can either hold the handle like normal, or even slip your hand through under the handle to press down with the palm of your hand.Since I only used my press for a few minutes, even the holder stayed a bit cooler than I expected. Obviously I'm not saying to go ahead and touch the holder while your heat press is on it! But after accidentally touching it with the side of my hand, I was very surprised that it wasn't very hot. Although I do think that if keeping it on for a couple of minutes or even keeping it on the higher setting will make it hot, so be careful when picking up the machine so that you don't touch the bottom.I also feel much safer using this over my other brands since it shuts off automatically after just a few minutes, keeping it from overheating.It worked super well and heated my design evenly! In my picture you can see my design is bigger than the heat press, but keeping it moving around still heated everything evenly. This little thing is strong! Definitely worth the price.Also since it took me a minute to find it, the temperatures for each level are found on the second page of the manual.

Don't take to long to get hot

I got this mini heat press to remove vinyl and it works great. I needed something small to remove any mistakes and this works great and is the perfect size. I also use it for smaller projects and it works better than expected. I would not recommend using this for t-shirts and larger projects as it will not distribute heat evenly across the design but for smaller items that require HTV I think this is perfect.

Used this to do a bunch of edge banding. Have used a regular iron in the bast but they're a bit too large and unwieldy. This little fella worked fine for the job. Plenty of heat to get the adhesive to flow out and small enough to be manageable on the edge of a 1/2" or 3/4" panel. Only complaint is that it shuts itself off every so often. Lifting it or moving it around doesn't change the time out period. It does beep to let you know it's about to shut down, which gives you about 5 seconds to hit the power button to keep it turned on. It started shutting down on me as it was in my hand and I was using it, which is annoying. For that I knocked off one star, but it's not a deal breaker, I'll still use it and would recommend it for jobs like the one I did.
