I have a king size bed, and before finding this my six foot hose regularly became detached during the night, which sort of defeats the point of using a CPAP machine. I have Philips machine, and for some reason they don't believe in making realistic length hoses for their machine. This was a great aftermarket find that I highly recommend if you find yourself getting randomly unplugged when you roll over at night.

Do not buy this under any circumstances. I bought it to replace my older hose. The night I put it on I fell asleep only to wake up gasping for air. I became so desperate for air I was hyperventilating without gaining anything. I had to be taken by ambulance to the E.R.where I had a pulse oxygen level of 75 and was in risk of having a pulmonary embolism. After 8 days of treatment I was released with a pulmonary infection caused by damage incurred while struggling for air. (I now have to have an oxygen concentrator.)When I got home the first thing I checked was my CPAP. I checked filters and then the hose. The problem was immediately evident. Throughout the interior there were folds of plastic material that limited the airflow through a straw-sized opening. Obviously there was absolutely zero quality control on this product. I nearly died because of this hose. Please don’t make the same mistake. You could lose your life or a loved one.

Have ordered a few at this point. The extra length on this makes all the difference especially when traveling and you don't have your usual set-up. You feel like you can move much more without having your CPAP unit crash from its perch.

The plastic tube separated from the outer coil on the 2nd use, causing an obstruction. The inner tube is extremely thin. waste of money.
