I wanted to add a touch of elegance to a party table setting and was attracted by the gold rims of these chargers. The soft pink blush on the plates is very attractive and quite subtle. When they arrived, I saw that they are just as pretty as shown in the product photographs.I wondered about the quality of the plates. I tried to bend one and found that while the rim bent slightly, the main body of the plate did not bend. My conclusion is that they are fairly sturdy for plastic plates. They have a number 6 PS recycling mark, which means they are polystyrene based and typically cannot be recycled. However, with hand washing, they should last for several uses. They are certainly more affordable than glass, metal or ceramic chargers.I decided to place a 10” diameter dinner plate and an 8” dessert plate on a charger to see how they look. I am quite pleased with their appearance. In addition, the use of chargers means that I do not need to use place mats under my settings. The chargers will be easier to clean and they stack nicely.I am really happy with these chargers. They should hold most crumbs and spills to protect the table from messy eaters.

I’m planning to use black dinner plates with these clear chargers. I think together they make quite a statement. The charger is lightweight but sturdy enough with no jagged edges. The plastic is nice and clear, not cloudy or hazy. I know that they are disposable but I plan to use them as much as I can before disposing of them. I’m pleased with these chargers.

These plates may be disposable but they don't look disposable at all. I'm not a fancy dinner party guy, but I have attended countless wedding receptions, and these black-rimmed plates would have made a great impression.I don't have dinner parties at home, but I used for a family football watch party. One thing to remember, these cannot be used in the microwave or dishwasher. If you are serving hot food, it is best to heat it in a dish, and then serve on one of these plates.These plates are scratch-resistant. While these are disposable, if you are willing to wash them by hand, you can use these plates multiple times.These plates really impressed me. If you are having an event, I think they will impress you too.

From the images, one would think these are glass or ceramic plates. They are not.The plates are durable, light-weight plastic plates that meet the needs of a budget consumer.Attractive and functional. Good value for the price.

These plates are elegantly understated, and can be used in any number of ways. Obviously they are primarily intended as an "undercarriage" for another, smaller plate or bowl. They are sufficiently neutral thath they will match with virtually anything placed on top.But there is no reason that they also couldn't be used on their own as a serving platter, perhaps with a paper or even fabric doily. And if you've prepared a blowout barbecue with several types of meats and sides, these will perform very well given their size. They can be loaded up with more than any paper plate that isn't called a "platter" that I've seen.They are also strong enough to be reused, although their longevity is not unlimited, given their thin plastic construction. Nonetheless these are a good thing to have on hand and can be put to work in a variety of ways.
