UPDATE:- 3 MONTHS ON . . . PURRRRRFECT! 2 cars — engine compartments — plagued by mice damage! Today (06:07:21) everything still exactly as setup in March. The badly damaged areas where I put the anti-rodent tape & spiral cable tidy (as repair and protection) and then sprayed . . . completely untouched. Other areas that I sprayed . . . untouched i.e no NEW damage. AND still loads in tin for another really good spray in 2 or 3 months time. Ecstatic with the result is an understatement! ###### original review ###### Quite simply you spray it on surfaces that rats and mice are chewing on. To rats and mice it tastes awful . . . they stop chewing . . . damage stops. It is not a deterrent to make them stay away, it is not a poison to kill them and spraying this product all over the place to keep them away is pointless! I bought this for two vehicles where we are getting rodent damage to the hoses and wiring in the engine compartment. This product is not expensive — I did both vehicles with more than enough left over to do them again in 6 months time. Note: I first sprayed the damaged cables . . . I then used plastic spiral cable tidy (various sizes bought on Amazon) to cover the damaged areas of wiring and then sprayed the cable tidies! I did try Anti rodent rats & mice electrical deterrent insulation tape . . . which was expensive for a very small quantity added to which it had poor adhesion (not self-amalgamating) and started to unravel within a week!

Real lifesaver. We live in the country. Rats were constantly chewing a particular coated wire inside our boiler and making the boiler pack in on a regular basis. This spray stopped that. This doesn’t stop rats from being in your home. I read some reviews and I think people are expecting them to go away because of this spray. It just stops them from chewing or eating through particular things. Wires, cupboards, small holes in floorboards. I have sprayed it in these places and they have stopped. I used traps and bait to actually get rid of them completely. So far, so good and they have now gone.

Helps keep them out of.. Strong smell lasts a while

For such a reasonably large size spray bottle the product does not go a long way. It has a lovely scent but the scent seems to wear off very quickly. It was great for freshening up around the rattan furniture on the decking and along the edge of the decking, but unsure if it worked for the purpose of its making. I've also got bait boxes around the decking and no signs of any little four legged life at the moment. However, i wouldn't buy this again as I am sure there are much easier and cheaper ways to make and use effectively the same 'product' yourself.

The spray is good, smell is pleasant and strong, seems it works for anti rat

Bought on the back of YouTube videos saying rats don’t like peppermint, there’s a good amount of granules for the price. But it didn’t work on the rats coming into my garden.
