Excellent
Solid and very good quality

I absolutely love these taps!
Such a utilitarian household product but I love these taps. For years I have put up with taps that had round handles, were ugly, and hard to turn with soapy hands. These taps look and feel classy and are a delight by comparison. Iโve always loved the traditional look of this tap design but had not bought them as I thought they would be hard to fit and I didnโt want the expense of a plumber to replace my old taps that werenโt actually broken.Well I was right about the hard to fit part due to the cramped space I was working in, but Iโm proud of myself for managing it.Apart from looks, and their solid feel, I also like how they are so easy to turn and they release a lot of water at once due to the large spout, which means the water doesnโt come gushing out everywhere.

Fast flow
Great taps with a fast flow valve. Unfortunately my hot tap has the ceramic disc that says โhotโ that keeps falling off even with glue!

Excellent taps for low pressure system
Excellent taps, very good flow rate from a low pressure gravity-fed system, despite being ceramic disc taps. I did get onto Bristan about this as these taps were originally compression valves and I wanted them to clarify the flow rates. I've bought Bristan taps before and been impressed and they also give flow-rate data on their website unlike most other manufacturers as far as I could tell.I bought both bath and basin taps and would say the same about both - they give at least as good, if not better, flow rates than the old (compression) ones (not Bristan) that they replaced. They feel solid and well-built and operate very smoothly and easily. They have a traditional look, but the quarter turn valves give them a modern feel.

Great quality traditional design taps
Just had these fitted today and I have to say, I'm well pleased with the result. They look great, compared with the modern-style ones they have replaced, which were dripping and due to the stupid design, the water was flowing back along the horizontal part of the tap onto the part of the unit were the soap would normally be placed (I had to affix an elastic band on them to stop that happening while waiting for the new taps to be fitted). Even if these new ones were to drip, which I don't expect to happen for quite a long time because they are a reputable brand, the traditional design means that the drips would run into the sink and drain away. Also, being traditional design, they don't have any plastic inserts in them, so I think they will probably remain much cleaner for longer (the cold tap of the other design needed to be brushed every couple of weeks to remove the horrible black mould that would build up inside the discharge point of the tap). I have purchased the matching 1901 series taps for the hand wash basin as well and they look and feel just as good. The only problem is, I shall have to train my mind to remember to turn both handles the same way, rather than the opposite way for hot and cold as with the modern design, but I'll get used to it.

Excellent Taps
Excellent Taps, which were straightforward to fit and will operate cleanly and reliably for many years. The chrome plating appears robust and of high quality. I fitted the taps using split, centring poly washers underneath. These should be supplied with all taps. Without, there is a high risk of leakage from bath top to under bath.

Great taps
Bought on the advice of my plumber, who told me that prices are competitive on Amazon and you are buying Bristan, so stand a good chance of getting spares, rather than needing to buy new taps when something wears out, as you would by buying the type of taps sold in DIY superstores.Iโm no expert but they appear decent quality for a decent price, backed by a big name.
