Happy With It
This deodorant works for my needs. As others have said in reviews, I still perspire a little with exercise but there is zero odor associated with it. And, yes it does go on a bit wet, but it dries quickly. I just reapply afterwards. As I got older I became sensitive to various deodorants and through much trial and error landed on this one. No more rashes and I feel it actually provides a little barrier between my underarm and the rub of clothing.

Holy-Grail!!!
I’ve been on the hunt for a deodorant that won’t cause my underarms to breakout in painful rashes and pimples for years. THIS IS THE ONE!! I have extremely sensitive, eczema prone skin and have wasted so much money trying other deodorants. This one is super long lasting, sweat and odor resistant, and doesn’t cause any burning or pain to my underarms. If you have a similar skin type or issue, try this!!! Can’t stress enough how happy I am with this deodorant. Not to be dramatic, but I could cry at the relief of not developing painful rashes and burning sensations in my armpits after a few uses. I thought I was cursed with having to choose between dealing with sweat and smell or rashes and burning. With this I don’t have to choose, thank you Vanicream!!!!

Works better than most comparable products
This works better than other scent free anti-perspirants I’ve tried. It’s not perfect (as fragrances really seem to help cover sweat smell) but it does work the best of all the other scent free products I’ve tried. I work in an environment where we must be scent-free and this is doing the job. I will buy again.

Sodium hydroxide > sodium bicarbonate
I have sensitive pits. They sting and burn after using the same deodorant or antiperspirant for more than a day or two, making wearing regular deodorant painful and impossible. Assuming it was the aluminum, I have tried every men's "sensitive" deodorant under the sun. Dove Aluminum-free, Dr. Squatch, Native, Tom's, Method, Arm & Hammer Essentials Charcoal, Every Man Jack, etc. Everything eventually made my armpits raw and painful after a few days.I did some research and finally found Vanicream and gave it a try, expecting the same results. Much to my surprise, it has been a month, and I have no pain after daily use. This has no aluminum, no baking soda, no nothin'. Vanicream isn't a cream at all, but rather a clear gel liquid that goes on smooth and dries before you put your shirt on, and leaves no residue or stains. It isn't sticky or flaky, or anything you hate about other deodorants. In fact, it isn't much of anything at all, with an ingredients list of only a few components. It doesn't even smell like anything, which could delight you or seem entirely pointless to you, depending on what you want out of your deodorant. If you have a strong and stinky natural body odor, this deodorant may not be for you. If you work long days and expect to smell as fresh as a daisy at the end of the day, this deodorant may not be for you.If you like your natural scent (and want to attract others with your natural scent instead of covering it up with a chemical body spray) and you have sensitive pits and just want a very basic deo to help stave off the stench for about 8-10 hours, this deodorant is for you. I believe the reason this works so well for folks with sensitive pits is because of the sodium hydroxide ingredient, which does a better job of alkalizing than sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) which is normally used in natural deodorants.

Finally no skin irritation
I've been wandering in the wilderness for most of my adult life at this point on deoderant, just a sweaty dude with skin that gets unbearably irritated by all the usual "natural" ingredients (corn starch, activated charcoal, baking powder). I was starting to get resigned that the universe wanted me to use a mass market aluminum deoderant. The active ingredient of this might be baking powder adjacent, but for whatever reason it doesn't create irritation (maybe the fact it comes as gel?), and for me at least provides all day odor protection. In short, I'll be buying this for the foreseeable future and praying the company doesn't discontinue it.
