Skeptical, prior to purchase.I am actually delighted with this book. It’s well thought out, and I love the fact that options are given with the recipes, and preparation and cooking items are listed.Also love the waste not want not section, golden breadcrumbs and spray oil. Really pleased, and after doing a few of the ideas here, I will soon be looking into Nancy’s other books.

Easy to follow instructions. Lovely food. The book concentrates on staple foods cooked well. Highly recommended. It takes the faff out of cooking .

That it contains lots of tips and advice even for the experienced cook/baker, so invaluable for beginners!

Very basic ingredient’s and recipes, easy to understand.

I have hummed and haad about buying another cookery book when I live alone and get no pleasure for cooking just for me. Anyway I buy the bullet and ordered it. I am So pleased that I did. It was like looking through my grandmothers cookery books ( I think she had three ). However Nancy's is in a modern way.We need to read this book and take heed of what Nancy is saying. These recipes are great and I’ve decided I’m going to have a go at as many as possible. Thank you Nancy.
