Seems to do the job, whether or not it will last is another matter. The cable protection itself isn't plastic, I am not sure what you would call it, but for those of you who are old enough, it is a much better version of the stuff that protected the cables in old electric goods or irons. It used to fray, which is what usually required you to buy a new item. This is a much updated version of that, but I find that when I roll the cable up, unlike plastic, the kinks tend to stay in the cable. Time will tell whether or not this will eventually stop the cable from working. I have certainly never seem the like of this before in a modern cable. EDIT The company contacted me after my review to assure me that this cable is made of double nylon on the outside and Kevlar on the inside, so is much more durable than plain plastic. Having had to replace many a cable because the plastic has not prevent the cables inside breaking, I am willing to bet that, certainly from the sound of it, this one will better protect the delicate cables inside. I have increased by rating to reflect this.

Bought to replace a similarly sized and braided Aukey cable, which failed after 9 months. I have owned other Anker Powerline cables, which are still working many years on, so decided to purchase a new USB C to C cable. After 3 months it is still working well and doesn't show any signs of wear and tear. The reinforced connectors are welcomed, as I find this to be the point where cheaper cables fail. The cable also seems to be just chunky enough that it doesn't become tangled, but is still flexible enough to be wrapped up and put in a bag for travelling.

I needed a cable to use with the Sony A7iii. I have tried many and they all seem to not work or register as they prefer expensive tether tools or Sony cables. This is a medium length cable, probably not as long as I would have liked, if they did a 3 metre they would clean up!The cable come in a pouch so you can store it and not get it tangled or crushed.It's easy to see being bright red and looks to be very well made all round. I dont use it or wont use it that often so it should last well.Overall, it's works! And with the Sony cameras what's a big ask.

I needed a decent replacement cable for my Note 10 after the supplied cable started fraying after only a couple months of use.This one is definitely a step up in quality with a nice braided cable and sturdy connectors, fast charging works fine as well which is a bonus.The little cable wallet with magnetic latch is a nice touch as well and all adds up to a bit of a bargain when compared to supermarket prices.As I've only just received it I can't comment on long term use but will update this review if any problems arise.

Functions well, good quality. Used to charge Macbook Pro or phone or connect Android table to Macbook as a second screen using Duet.

I bought this charger to be a spare for my apple macbook pro charger, but within a few days it became my preferred charger. Due to the nylon braided design it is much more flexible and seems to be of better quality than the apple charger.There’s not too much to say other than it gets the job done and that I am very much a fan of the colour, rather than the white cables apple seems to love selling for rather absurd prices.Seven months after using the cable daily it did eventually stop working. I contacted anker as it fell under their year long warranty. Within days I was pleased to have a replacement and it is still going strong.Brilliant buy and very good price- anker has done kt again!

Honestly anker is just something else. The product quality and the packaging is just amazing. Ive been buying anker products for a long time and I've got so many of their products that i genuinely don't bother reading any reviews before buying from them. I don't read any reviews because their customer service is that good. It doesn't matter how small or big of an issue you have they will sort something out for you. I bought this cable because i needed it, its as simple as that. I was expecting the cable to arrive in a simple blue and white cardboard box like many other items I've bought from them, which it did but when i opened it up and i saw the cable neatly packed into a carry pouch i was blown away by the attention to detail and all round experience of just buying a simple cable.

As always, Anker make an excellent cable. It is a brilliant replacement for an Apple one that was getting well worn. Just a bit miffed that I lose a few inches because of the use of the Imperial 6ft as opposed to the Metric 2 meters. But that's the will of the people 😉I'd recommend Anker cables to anyone.

Ich habe dieses Kabel als extra lange Controller-Verbindung geholt und bin rundum zufrieden.Der Kontroller ist damit endlich auch vom Bett aus benutzbar und spielen macht dann auch viel mehr Spaß, wenn man bequem liegt.Ich habe einen Nintendo-Switch Controller, welcher nur 25€ gekostet hatte und sich deshalb mit meinem Laptop nicht verbinden konnte.Also musste das USBc Kabel her, welches aber gerade Mal fürs zurücklehnen im Stuhl reichte und der Bildschirm dann für lange nutzung zu nah war.Bei Versand lief alles super, die Packung mit dem "Fließumschlag" (ich weiß gerade nicht mehr genau, was das für Stoff war) ist auch super zum Mitnehmen geeignet, nur das Kabel wieder perfekt so reinzubekommen ist etwas schwierig, aber dank des einfachen Verschlusses auch kein Problem, wenn es aufgerollt eher einem Kreis gleicht ;)Dank der gleichen Anschlüsse muss man auch mit der "richtigen Seite" nicht aufpassen und nimmt sich keinen USB Platz weg, also einfach perfekt!Die Verbindung ist super, die Qualität hervorragend und ich habe nach monatelanger Nutzung bisher auch kein Makel gefunden.Das einzige womit man bei kleinen Anschlüssen aufpassen sollte ist, dass man an dem Kabel nicht zieht und man es auch im Anschluss im Handy/Controller/... nicht irgendwie zu einer Seite drückt, da das ja über lange Zeit den Anschluss (nicht das Kabel selbst) im Gerät lockern kann und dann Wackelkontakt schnell entsteht wie bei Handys und Handyladekabeln.Also rundum zufrieden und wenn benötigt, hole ich mir genau dieses hier gerne wieder!

This cable is sturdy and works as expected. The braided cover feels solid and durable, and I like that they make fun colours.But... the unexpected bonus was the case. I didn't notice that this came with a case when I ordered it, but it's nice, because I planned to keep this in my laptop bag. The case itself is just well thought-out in every way: it has a magnetic closure (not super powerful, but it won't be subjected to much strain anyway), and it looks nice (a neutral brown) and even the velcro strap to hold the cable in has a little tab to secure the "hook" side when it's not closed, so it won't stick to everything in sight.I wouldn't have bought this just for the case, but the result is that my opinion of Anker as a thoughtful company that cares about its customers has been affirmed.
