Love this keyboard
I'll get this out of the way now. You pay a premium for this keyboard, and the display is definitely an unnecessary component that adds to the price. With all that being said, I love it. I had the huntsman for a while with the optical analog switches and never really found myself enabling the analog features. So going back to regular mechanical switches felt like coming home. The "thick" of these switches sound great. The size is great for giving me more room to maneuver my mouse when gaming. It feels premium all around and I absolutely love it. Be careful with complex lighting setups through Razer Chroma. I was using some of the AI effects and it actually started to use up too many resources and impact performance in some games. It took me a while to realize that's what it was. Razer's software has too many issues like that Like, don't even offer a lighting option if it's going to negatively impact the performance of my PC, you're basically malware at that point, but the keyboard itself is fantastic as far as I'm concerned.

Worth the hype
This keyboard has so many functions in razer synapse. 8k polling is insane . The rbg is cool to play with. the oled is rad cuz you can add a pic of your own and it displays on the screen. Imagine the possibilites for games. pretty neato.

What a waste
Was sent this keyboard and found that the OLED screen that is on this keyboard along with the Multifunction Dial both do not work. I tried every fix under the sun that I could think of and there was no life in those components. I tried to return it and was only given the run around with customer support and UPS support to boot. Save yourself some hassle and keep on searching for a better fit.

A very good keyboard, with noticeable Razer flavored shortcomings.
Right off the bat, I'm noticing that even with the lights and OLED display dimmed to 25%, the battery eats itself alive during use. That's not to say you can't use it for extended periods, but you will have to keep an eye on the power. I'm not at all keen on having to charge the keyboard nightly. And of course, the included firmware update failed to install initially, requiring a restart to complete the installation. So we're off to a rocky start. It has the same cloud sync problems as the other hardware, only exacerbated by the limit of 15 minutes of downtime when the keyboard is not actively being used. Since this is largely a problem with the Razer Synapse software itself, I won't count it against the keyboard this time, like I did with the Huntsman Mini. Also, a more accurate name for how the keyboard functions would be 'remote,' since it uses this awkward adaptation of its cable extender to run the included cable into the USB port, making it not truly 'wireless.' Trouble is, that would be less than marketable. All of these issues are a shame, because the keyboard itself is quite good. It feels appropriately weighty, but still light enough to move around the desk. I wasn't sure I would like the 'Tactile and Quiet' keyboard switches, but they've started to grow on me and I've decided to wait until later to change them out for the Clicky ones. It handles like an absolute dream, when the software isn't getting in the way. When the software does work the way it should, the extra features are a lot of fun to mess around with. And even with low brightness, I can still see what the keys say. The color is nice, but I would have liked it if there was an option for white keycaps that didn't require me to order a new set and change them out. But that's a minor issue. This one does have proper page keys, although their accompanying 'home' and 'end' functions are locked under Hypershift, and they can't be remapped. Thankfully, there are more keys available for Hypershift mapping here than there are on the Huntsman Mini, so it's that much more customizable. During gaming, when it's not trying to resync its profile with Razer's cloud servers, it has low enough latency that I can't tell that it's there, if it is. But really, Razer? Why is cloud sync so necessary? You know I'm just gonna click 'Use Local Setting" to overwrite what you have on the cloud. So if you have 300 dollars to spend on a keyboard, this isn't a terrible option, but be prepared to wrestle a bit with the settings from time to time to get it to work the way you want. Edited on 5/9/2025 to include more details.

poor product quality
The keyboard itself is not bad, but the charging is very unreliable. Sometimes I could not even get the keyboard to charge at all. I tried multiple troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling Synapse 4, removing the device from Windows Device Manager, and using a simple charger instead of my usual setup. None of these seemed to fix the issue or identify the root cause. I ended up returning it. Overall, I’m disappointed because the keyboard has good potential, but the charging reliability made it hard to trust as a daily-use product.

Amazing Keyboard
I thought it would be a descent keyboard at first, but then I fully modified it. It was good before, but now it's amazing. I replaced the stabilizers with Durock screw-in stabilizers, used Gateron Oil King linear switches, and got some custom PBT keycaps. It's simply a joy to type on, so thocky. The screen is a nice addition too. You can customize it to your heart's content in Razer Synapse. I'm really happy with my purchase decision.

Amazing! Totally worth it.
Very pricey keyboard, but worth every penny. Synapse 4 still has software issues and I experience the odd random problem but honestly hasn't been as bad as it was in the past with Synapse 3. Typing works great. I've upgraded the switches inside to baby kangaroos and they feel and sound amazing on this board. RGB lights are bright and super customizable. If you're on the fence about buying this thing... Do it.... Do itttt...

Do not buy
I don't even care if the keyboard is the best on the market, the software that it uses is absolute garbage. This keyboard is not compatible with Synapse 3, so you have to use Synapse 4, which is beyond bad. Synapse 4 does not seem to want to detect ANY of my devices besides this keyboard. All of the reviewers that you see online don't seem to ever talk about what hot garbage Razer Synapse 4 is, trust me, it's terrible. The only workaround I found was to install Synapse 3 so that it can recognize most of your Razer devices, and then install Synapse 4 on top of it and it seems to work. However, Razer had the brilliant idea of not letting you have Synapse 3 and 4 installed at the same time. This keyboard is also not worth the hassle. As a bonus, one of my keys started double tapping, so that's still an issue.

Worth every penny.
Amazing keyboard, I've had it for over 4 months now and if you want me to be honest, I have yet to use a bad razer product. Everything in my setup is razer, and its just phenomenal.
