I took it out of the box, plugged it in and selected the "Chicken" mode - simple as that! The special egg type selector button offers optimized settings for chicken, duck, goose or pigeon eggs. There's even a manual mode for other bird species. The capacity for 36 chicken eggs is perfect for beginners like me. I put in 20 eggs for my first try and 17 of them hatched, which is an 85% success rate! The automatic egg turner feature is a real lifesaver, saving you from having to turn the eggs every 1.5 hours. The integrated egg control light (candler) is one of my favorite features. Watching the eggs develop is both educational and exciting. My kids and I have made it a routine to check the eggs every evening.

I have set large maran eggs in the incubator. Not a lot of room between rows and had to carefully size select and position zigzag as they otherwise touch when rotating. If surface is not completely level i would imaging they end up together at one end of the roller. Defeats the object of automatic if you have to keep opening it up and disturbing the eggs and heat. Had to use a second incubator to complete. Hopefully will be ok. Would be great for small or medium sized eggs.Water evaporates quite quickly as went from 60% to 35% in 12-16 hours.

So this incubator honestly does the job all round automatic turning of the eggs has plenty of space which it says for up to 36 eggs I personally would limit this down due to the crowding of space inside.Easy instructions to follow while getting everything setup and ready for use I, It does have an integrated candler like shown in the image and that honestly works a charm depending on the eggs used as example the quail eggs i put inside of here do have darker areas on the the eggs alone so you'll need to keep more of a watch for those anyway.All in all this has ticked all the boxes for my use basis and will continue to use this as one its so fun two it basically operates itself all you need todo is play the patience game.I would also recommend anyone using this to opt for a camera with motion detection just so you do not miss the hatching of eggs placed inside.

I am so excited to review this brilliant Incubator; I love animals and have been looking to grow our little family for ages. So, where to begin? Well, first of all, this incubator is BIG; it holds a whopping thirty-six eggs, which is a lot of chickens running around the house! But there is so much more to this incubator than just its size. For instance, I love that this gadget automatically turns the eggs, making the whole process practically hands-free. No more clucking and worrying about manually turning them! The temperature control seems precise, and having the humidity display right there makes it easy to keep an eye on the critical factors at a glance, giving my eggs the best possible chance of hatching.The integrated egg candler is a welcome feature, too. I thought I’d need to buy one of these separately, but it is built in and works perfectly!Overall, this incubator is a great quality machine and brilliant value for money. It’s well-made, and the design is simple to navigate, which makes it a great choice even for beginners like myself. The bottom line is, if you’re serious about hatching eggs and want something reliable with all the necessary accessories, I can't recommend this highly enough. I’m now counting down to 21 days when I shall have some new feathery friends entering our lives.

Incubator cant hold humidity for more than a couple of hours due to limited water storage. Operating is difficult due to very complex user interface where you need to read codes from a table and make adjustments based on codes for things like egg rotation. By default it rotates the eggs for 120 seconds at a time!It’s cheap and large capacity but I still wouldn’t recommend it.

Couldn't really recommend due to it not keeping humidity for more than a couple of hours. Would only really use it for dry hatching chicken eggs and nothing else. Really disappointed because it had good reviews when I bought it.UPDATE. I've tried suggestions from the company about humidity . They don't work . But I put Turkey eggs in on duck mode and they are hatching now so I will up my stars to 3 .

I ordered this for a family member who has birds and has started to breed them, they're extremely happy with the quality of this unit.It requires minimal effort to set up and is easy to use but it's also got a couple of functions above the rest.It has humidity control but also does automatic rotation of the eggs. Generally others don't do this and you have to turn every couple of hours. This makes the whole process easy to do and simple.They're very happy with it and have said it's one of the best they've used due to the functions. It also boasts an impressive amount of eggs it can incubate, 36 in total. Others tend to lack the space allowing you to do this.
