it burns wood as advertised. purchased for a very artistic teen and she loves it. the variety of accessories open up whole realms of new artsy possibilities and was an excellent value Lots of tips and stamps and supplies.I definitely recommend this for anyone interested in learning wood burning, or wanting a tool that does more than one task.Great wood burning art starter kit for beginners that also sells for a modest consumer price!

It’s very easy to set up and use only suggestions would be getting the heat resistant glove to help change the tips very durable and very affective

After 3 one half hour uses, the plug wire became detached from inside the handle. The tool can't be taken apart so to rewire the break, would be a simple fix. The ceramic rod that runs from the switch to the tip also broke. I bought it to use for plastic welding. I liked the variety of tips that came with it. The reviews were positive enough to give it a shot. In this general price range, there are an overload of choices, many of them looking alike. Based on my experience, I would look elsewhere.

Works well and comes with lots of accessories. Super easy to use for a wood burning tool. Would absolutely recommend for those making wood art or gifts.

I soooo wanted to give this product a great review <insert deep sigh> here goes... for the price point, it came with a tremendous amount of supplies from stencils to colorful pencils to tips and bits. A case, a pencil sharpener, carbon paper, timber in several shapes, a stand, blades and a chuck. Now all of this is fantastic minus the fact that in your advertisement, your stencils showed animals (which Iwas expecting to receive and did not). The most important thing here to note is that upon my first use, the Stainless Steel Tube, Nut and Tip came loose while in use at 450° which could have been extremely dangerous for someone who did not know what they were doing. Luckily, I had an old hand towel nearby that I folded over rapidly and screwed it back into place to finish the line I was working on which was a name. Unfortunately I was in the middle of the first name name and the burner continued to come loose after every letter no matter gentle I was with the pressure. So after two letters, I stopped. I unplugged the unit allowed it to completely cool off and noticed the Stainless Steel Tube, the inner core cover and white center were all leaning in a bent manner and this was VERY DISAPPOINTING. I gently pushed it back into place, and called it a night. Safety first! I wish the unit itself were better quality because the accessories are cool but my safety is more important to me than cool point, there I cannot recommend this product and I will be returning it. Sorry.
