Don't listen to the haters
These are great rollerblades. Pretty comfy and the brake works fine. When I first tried them (inside on wood floors and outside on wood deck) they were a little slippery, but once I was on pavement they were totally fine and just like all other rollerblades.Anyone writing that these are heavy or uncomfortable or don't have give in the ankles clearly had unrealistic expectations. Rollerblades aren't supposed to weigh the same as shoes. The Velcro and adjustable elements are supposed to provide support so your ankle shouldn't be able to move as much as with hockey skates (with only laces). As someone who has rollerbladed for 20+ years I can confidently say that these are totally normal and good quality blades.I'm a size 7.5W in shoes and got the 8. A little big (as expected) but nothing some thick socks won't fix.

These roller blades are definitely very attractive but it isn't as comfy as I hoped for. I suggest wearing thick socks for better comfort and a size larger if you have wide feet. Overall it does serve its purpose, you just need to break them in a little.

Zero ankle support ankle is BROKEN
Used these first time today. Within four minutes I fell and my ankle is shattered. I am currently laying in a hospital bed in agony awaiting surgery. Words can't describe how much I have to suggest you absolutely not put these things on your feet.Update: in my forth week of bed rest because of these horrible skates. This has literally ruined my life. I've had surgery, and had numerous trips back to the hospital due to crippling pain. Once everything is said and done, I may have a limp for the rest of my life, arthritis, and will likely need to file bankruptcy. Not to mention the daily emotional trauma of flash backs to laying on a trail with my ankle dangling. It wasn't a broken ankle, it was a broken tibia and fibula, clean breaks. This will haunt me the rest of my life.

Great product, 1 small problem
I was not paid for this review, nor did i recieve anything for writing it.😑I bought these rollerblades for my 10 year old daughter. The quality is outstanding and they fit as expected! The only issue is that she hasnt taken them off! Its been three days and as far as i can tell she has even been sleeping in them. She zooms past everyone when we go on walks, and now she's is demanding that everyone calls her "Captain Fantastic the Roller-Derby Queen" the main problem is that its the only name she answers to now and we have to say the whole thing every time! She hasnt washed her feet in days because she wont stop skating! School starts soon and im not quite sure what to do because school policy strictly forbids skating on campus. Buyer beware.

Sizing is odd
These are pretty decent skates. I wear a 8.5 and originally ordered a 9. Way too big. They seemed more like 9.5. My foot slipped out no matter how tight I made them. The I exchanged for an 8. These were so tight I can't move my toes and the padding is uncomfortable. The wheels seem very tight. Seemed to be a very different blade from the size 9. So disappointing

Three Stars
Fit well but the mold of the shoe kind of digs into the arches/side of my foot.

Great price. Great fit.
I was worried about ordering skates on line and honestly the reviews on these skates were 50/50 but the price was right! After buying these skates, and using them daily for 30 minutes, i know i made the right decision.I am a big girl trying to get in shape and i hate running but love rollerblading (although i haven't in years). I am usually a size 8-8.5 in shoes but knowing i like to wear thick socks while skating i purchased a size 9.These skates are smooth and have never given me blisters or pain. The only pain i feel is the kind i want; my thigh muscles telling me they are working.I definitely recommend this product!

Learning!
Just learning how to rollerblade. Took these out today to the park, very fun. I'm a size 8 in converse, and ordered the size 8 here. My left foot is honestly closer to an 8.5, but I used thin, hand knit socks and it didn't give me any trouble.I took off a star because my left ankle bone hurt a hit, but no blisters after over an hour of "skating" (or at least trying). I'm sure they'll get better after being broken in.
