Katech Knitting Kit for Beginner- Learn to Knit Kit for Adults & Kids

I bought these for my daughter-in-law who wanted to learn to knit. This great kid has everything you need, including an instruction book, knitting needles, and a good amount of yarn.

I've made my first hat and am working on the gloves. The directions are easy to understand and the yarn is soft. The yarn splits easily so you have to be careful when inserting your needle, but other than that it's worth the $.

The yarn is just awful! It frays and just makes a mess of it. Not good for learning. Had better luck going to a yarn shop and asking one of the ladies there to guide me. And it was cheaper than this kit. Avoid this kit at all costs. Everything’s so cheap and just unusable.

The yarn label is not in English so I can’t read the yarn type, weight or anything I need to decide what to use it for. The instructions booklet is, but only gives instructions on the different stitches. No patterns included for the hat gloves or scarf. It provides a scan code for videos that don’t have speaking directions only subtitles that aren’t very clear. Very disappointed!!

Nice kit but without the internet it would have been hard to do. Not much guidance for beginners

I’d highly recommend using the picture of the kit to buy supplies from the store. The needles are ok, the yarn doesn’t slide on the wood needles well though. The instructions are mediocre, I ended using YouTube for everything. But the yarn the comes with it is not good! It unravels as you’re knitting and it’s beyond frustrating, leaving strings hanging out. Plus the needles are too small for the yarn that it comes with, leading to needing more stitches than recommended in the book, and takes a lot longer to knit anything. The yarn calls for 6mm needles but it comes with 4mm needles.

This was fun to do and I've not only learned to knit, but I been making other projects too!
