After having some items blow out of my truck this winter and having to pick them up from the middle of the road on a very cold nasty day, I said. enough! I had a blue tarp covering the boxes which was bungeed down but that didn't work. This cargo net was the perfect solution. It definitely cost more than a tarp but this net it very high quality. I wouldn't even call it a net. It is made of heavy strong material (not a water proof cover, however) that lets air flow without lifting the cover. The D rings on the top are excellent. You don't have fool with the small holes in grommets, and it comes with appropriate sized ratchet straps. It would be good for holding boxes and junk in a truck bed but also for holding down loose mulch, or taking stuff to the dump.

I bought this for our smaller truck. Sometimes we have a pallet of boxes or items that need to be held together, and this tarp fits the bill perfectly. The way it's made, is similar to a big truck steel tarp. The d-rings placed on the webbing allows you to strap or bungee it down properly and securely.I may order these for our bigger trucks, too. It's a great little tarp!

It's not exactly what I was expecting, and it's less than 8 by 6 feet

Too small and incomplete. Need to have addition bungee cords to secure the net down should be included in the package. I returned it.
