I live weighted blankets. Helps me sleep with anxiety and dont need 4 comforters to put me to sleep. Litterally cant sleep without one now. Greatest invention ever

If you like being underneath a lot of covers, regardless of whatever temperature you want, this may be nice for you. I was a little skeptical, but I absolutely adore my weighted blanket now. It is true that the glass beads don't insulate like regular blankets do, so in the summer time I just have it on top of a regular flat sheet, and I stay cool. In the winter I stack flat sheet -> weighted blanket -> comforter, and I stay warm. I can be super comfortable any time of year. Also recognize that it is filled with glass beads, and it a little fragile. No matter how it's made, it's still full of 17 pounds of glass balls, so be careful with it. I never lift mine by the edge, I always try to support a large portion of it from underneath. I'm also not rough with it, and would be cautious giving it to a kid. Every now and then I can find a tiny glass bead here or there. It's rare, and they don't bother me at all. I simply notice one rarely, then toss it in the garbage. Never bothers me, and it's really rare if you're just gentle with it. I would pay attention to sizing guidelines available online. For me personally, 17 pounds is perfect. I'm 160 pounds, and it's definitely the Goldilocks weight for me. I'm also 6'2" and it's long enough for me, but it's not quite as big as a typical full size flat sheet. I have not tried to clean it yet. I always have the flat sheet between the blanket and myself, so I never make direct contact with it. Again remember that it is filled with a lot of heavy glass beads, so be careful. I plan to occasionally hand wash it, very gently, in a bath tub, then lay it out flat to dry with lots of airflow. I want to ensure that the wet beads never let gravity pull them against the stitching all at once (don't hold it vertical). But I will spend this effort on this blanket because it's freaking awesome, I really like this blanket a lot. If you're still reading this, but this blanket. You're clearly interested, you've read this far, so you know how to take care of it, and it's really good, so buy it.

If you've never used a weighted blanket before, and you're intrigued by the concept, this blanket is a solid choice. Basically, humans have a subconscious need to be "held" while sleeping. This comes from the way we were handled when we were babies by our mothers. It provides a sense of being safe, allowing us to relax deeply to get the solid recuperative sleep we were meant to receive. This blanket will do just that. I use a smartwatch, and my sleep quality went immediately up, from a routine score between 65 to 75, all the way up to 85. No other changes were made, and my REM sleep duration also increased. Make sure your bedroom is as dark as possible, and keep your window open to receive a never ending supply of fresh air. If you do that, combined with this blanket, you will sleep like a bear during hibernation. I have no way to know for sure, but I feel like I also have less anxiety during the day. It might be attributed to this blanket. As far as the blanket itself, it's comfortable and heavy. 5/5 Stars.

I love this blanket when I originally got it it fits perfectly over the bed and has great rate distribution. I had washed it once in the gentle cycle but also had to put a cover over top of it. My most recent time taking the cover off I found that the beads for spilling out and I can’t locate the source. It’s sad I really love the blanket but I’ll probably have to throw it out now.

I have the worst night time anxiety. My SIL recommended this blanket. I can’t live without it. I even give us precious suitcase space to travel with it. It actually very easy to wash and dry.
