Scotch-Mount Multi-Purpose Gel Mounting Tape, Clear, 1 Roll

This double-sided gel tape has been incredibly useful to have around the house. It’s strong, easy to use, and I’ve found myself reaching for it more often than I expected. I’ve used it to secure a tabletop to a pair of drawer stacks to create a desk, and I’ve also used it to mount a sign on the wall. In both cases, it held everything securely and was quick to apply. It’s one of those products that ends up having countless uses, so I’m glad I keep a roll on hand. If you like tackling DIY projects or need a strong multipurpose mounting tape, this is a great option.

This stuff HOLDS! I put up a Christmas decoration outside at the beginning of December and forgot to leave a bit out to pull in order to remove it. I think I'm going to end up using a blow torch (or WD-40) to remove it. The adhesive quality is GREAT (used according to directions)! It's worth it's weight in gold, and as far as versatility, YES! 've used it to put up smoke detectors, "Don't let the Chihuahua Out" signs, and more. It's the best quality tape of this kind available. I will *ALWAYS* keep this on hand.

This tape has a really strong hold. I used it to put up my doorbell cameras so I wouldn’t have to drill holes. It was hard to get off when I moved. But once I did, there was no damage. The back door camera withheld a very rainy few months and the camera didn’t budge. Now is the test for this extreme heat we get.

Pretty awesome stuff! I bought it because one of my refrigerator shelves broke in the door and it did a good job of holding it on. Even in the cold! I had to be careful how much weight I put on it, even after using a full roll, but it exceeded my expectations honestly as it was able to hold one full jug of milk. Good quality material and outlasted my fridge, as the compressor went out a few months later.

I’ve bought this tape looking to secure some items to a wall in a bedroom where special needs children sleep, and play. I needed something that wouldn’t fall off the wall. Well, this is just that product. Even if it is advertised as removable, don’t bet on it. This is as close to super glue as you can get in a double-sided tape. It is kind of thick, which helps to conform to uneven surfaces when compared to plastic base tapes. I love it and use it on almost anything.

Very strong bond, even I am impressed. Bought it to reattach a decal and now we use it to put under cabinet lights on. Cut to size,

Good two way tape , I use this for Christmas . Easy to apply and remove.

I have tried both Alien Tape and this tape. They both work the same way However, this tape has some issues. First it is poorly packaged which shows up in difficulty to dispense it without bringing along some of the packaging material. It is thinner then the Alien Tape and seems to be not a mushy or sticky for that matter. This shows up in it all of a sudden releasing its bond. I have had several failures where I had to sand the surface to get good adhesion. It seems Alien Tape is not as fussy and sticks even if the surface is not perfect. With the brand name I wanted to try it but I am not going to buy it again. For you it may work just fine so the reason for the 4 star review.

Wow! I mean scotch brand by itself is already very reassuring. But receiving it, endorse on the brand we can trust. Not only that the tape quality is as good as they market, but to include an additional packaging to store the tape is quite surprising. Awesome.

I use the packages of the little squares of this stuff in my class all the time. This time I thought I would try and use it for big posters right now it is holding up a stretched canvas on my wall. This is much cheaper and stronger! Great Buy!
