Battery does not last very long but it does work well other than that. It is heavy to carry around.

I just started using this. It is extremely quiet. I like the dual speed mode.

Had same one before newer one has upgraded spool system 100% better..

I'd probably give this 4 stars if it weren't for two issues:1) Amazon shows the wrong replacement string in the "Frequently bought together" field. This is a KS 230-x06. Amazon is trying to sell you the KST-120x string replacements which aren't even close to be the right size. Do not buy the KST-120x string (See Images)2) After 1 year of light usage the bump stop on the head broke and the spring fell out. I can't find the replacement parts anywhere. Some youtubers show how to retrofit some non-standard parts to make them fit, but who wants to deal with that?

I’m yet to run out of battery life with this. Only issue I’ve had is the spool for cutting line can be a little testy. It’s easy compatibility with the electric mower more than makes up for it.

Having owned Cobalt 40V trimmer and pole saw with great results, this was an utter disappointment. Arrived with box semi-destroyed, and item could not run for 5 seconds without cutting out consistently. I’m very disappointed in Cobalt, and unless they implement a decent quality assurance program - I will never buy another Cobalt product!
