I am growing orchids. I received an orchid for valentines day from my young granddaughter. I researched and watches videos on how to take care of orchids. Orchids need air circulation to thrive and continue to grow. These planters are perfect to plant orchids. These planters provide great air circulation and drainage. With the planters being clear I am able to see the roots and see if the need my attention.

If you've received a large orchid for Mother's Day or your birthday, this size pot is the perfect size when it's time to repot. After it's done blooming I like to check on the roots and media. If it's loaded with roots I move it up to a slightly larger pot. These are what I was looking for. Good sturdy plastic. Not too many air holes. And they have that raised drainage hole I like. They fit perfectly in my cover pots.

My orchids have done well since re-pottting in these. Good aeration & drainage.

These are nice orchid pots and a good value. They're a good in-between size, between a 5 inch and a 6 inch pot. I got these instead of getting 5 inchers. I do wish they were a little taller. They're 4.2" high. When I looked at the picture on the product page with all the measurements, I thought these were 5.5" high and the height from the raised center was 4.2". There is a vertical measurement on the left side of the picture that says 5.5". I should have read the detail description instead of assuming. They're the same height as the 5" pots I'm using now, so not a big deal. The plastic is thick enough and the side holes are sufficient. I like the raised center on the bottom but wish it wasn't so high. All in all, these are very good pots and good value.

I bought these plastic pots because my orchid produced a baby. They are very sturdy and have holes all the way around and in the bottom to allow exceptional drainage. The bottom is indented and forms a peak inside to keep roots out of any standing water. The quality of these pots for the price is impressive. The can fit nicely inside of decorative pots allowing for any aesthetic that matches your decor.

These pots are excellent for my orchids, with good holes in them for the plants to breathe and good drainage. I can also monitor the plant roots well using these pots. They are sturdy, and attractive in a nice quiet way, so that the focus is on the plants rather than the pots. They do the job at a good affordable price.

Used it to repot my orchid. The size is perfect for my small and the medium size orchids. The design provides enough holes for the airflow and you can see and satiation of the moss and how the root grows.

Great quality containers. Massively big. I thought they were going to be a bit smaller. I think if you have a big container then these are perfect otherwise, I believe the 4 or 4 1/2 would be a much better choice. I'll be getting a smaller size next time but definitely recommend. The draining holes are great. Very good value for your money.
