Easy Sprouting Directions Jar Method Soak 2 to 6 hours - Put 1 or 3 tbsp seeds in a wide mouthed jar. (Use more seed if sprouting a large seed like peas.) Cover jar with screen or mesh and secure with rubber band. Add water, swirl and drain. Refill with about 1 cup water. Soak seeds for 2 to 6 hours. Drain water. Rinse twice a day - Rinse sees by refilling jar with water and gently swirling. Drain water. Invert and prop jar at an angle in sink or bowl. Enjoy! - Ready in 3 to 6 days - To keep fresh, refrigerate well drained sprouts in a sealed container. Sprouter Method Soak 2 to 6 hours - Rinse enough seed to cover the bottom of the sprouting tray. Cover seed with water for 2 to 6 hours. (Small seeds that fall through the drainage holes of the tray can be soaked in a jar or bowl.) Drain, holding at an angle to remove excess water. Spread seed evenly on the bottom of the sprouting tray. Cover with lid or plastic bag.
