I like Bourbon with a large clear ice cube. I can sip on a nice pour of single barrel cask proof over a clear cube in a 11 oz glass for almost an hour. For years I've used ice makers in the freezer but my wife is angry over the amount of space it takes up. Plus, 'harvesting' the ice is ridiculously difficult. And when left out to melt a little or run under water, the shapes distort. In a world with so much turmoil, a problem I shan't complain about is clear ice in perfect shapes. But, Klaris deserves the review and I'll take small pleasures whenever I can get them. This machine might be the best appliance I've ever purchased. It's simple, works perfectly, and while it has a high price...it's still way less than therapy or a divorce attorney. Nobody will regret having this machine if large clear ice is what you like! Congrats Klaris!

It actualky works as advertised. You get 4 clear ice cubes. It takes a little trick to get them to pop out. It also takes 10 hours to make 4 cubes. There is a hold on it that lasts about 3 hours after it finishes. Start in morning and one at night and you are set. Cubes store nicely in plastic bag in freezerReally worth it if you got the cash.

this machine is compact, very quiet, rather attractive, & makes GORGEOUS cubes of ice.however i realized they were too large to fit into any of my glassware :-( so i sadly had to return it.but if you have whiskey glasses you will love this ice maker.

Although it takes hours to make this craft ice, the ice turned out superb. We used distilled water and put the machine on a timer while we were at work. Get the containers to store the ice too!

This works as advertised. The ice cubes are perfectly clear. I haven't experimented much with freezing things into the center of the ice cube, but you can do it if you can keep it from floating up to the top.Freeze times can vary - I'm running closer to 11-12 hours for a set of cubes vs. the advertised 8-10. In part it depends on the ambient temperature in the room and my kitchen runs warm in the winter. I tried putting it in a entrance hallway, but then it complained that the ambient air temperature was too low and wouldn't finish the freeze cycle.The instructions are a bit sparse - the easiest way to get the cubes out of the mold is to push on the bottom, towards the middle of each ice cube.

I’ve tried them all and this one is hands down the BEST! Quiet and stylish design. Super easy to use and has awesome delayed start time option. Perfect size CLEAR as crystal cubes. Zero imperfections! You wont be disappointed.

This product does exactly what it says it does.Makes clear cocktail ice cubes for drink glasses.I have not found another product that does this that isn't monumentally more expensive.A larger-scale ice maker that does clear ice is going to be more of a restaurant-grade appliance.I won't go into a lot of operational detail, you can read about that elsewhere or watch some youtube videos. This product does take some time to produce 4 ice cubes, about 10~11 hours for us.We generally make about 8 cubes and then put them a ziplock bag for later use.If you think you're going to make a few dozen ice cubes in time for tonight's party - you're not.If you need that many clear ice cubes, I'd suggest buying them from a supplier instead.If it's just for you and a few others, it'll be fine.I can't tell you anything about this product's long-term reliability.It is my intention to follow-up with a longer term review later.I've had it for less than a month, and so far; it's been great and met expectations.It is a little extravagant, but I was happy to splurge this time.
