Love this one can be used in many occasions, I would agree with others little dim but if you close the outdoor light it will shine and do the job!

I just plugged it in and connected my phone to it. The projector has many options i think it will work for the majority of the holidays. It has nothing programmed for Thanksgiving. You can adjust the colors of the aurora to make fall colors. I like the aurora the way it moves indoors it will calm you to the point of falling asleep. I can see this being a beautiful addition to my christmas decorations and nice for halloween. I will change my review if it's not up to par outdoors if needed.

This Govee projector light was acquired to illuminate a previously dim area of the yard and add to an existing array of Govee outdoor lights. Upon unboxing, the build quality of this unit is immediately apparent. The light housing and mounting base plate are constructed from high-quality materials, providing a robust and sturdy feel. For outdoor products in high-humidity and salt-air environments, durable construction is essential, and Govee has certainly delivered. The projector also includes a ground stake, offering flexibility for installation if the mounting plate is not desired. Initial placement involved mounting the unit on the eve of a house, directing the light towards a garden area. The aim was for the light to be sufficiently bright to showcase its effects on the surrounding trees. The variety of effects produced by this projector, including the lasers and aurora stars, are truly captivating. However, for the specific large area targeted, the light's brightness was not quite sufficient to achieve the desired dramatic effect on larger trees. Further testing is planned, involving relocating the unit to a different spot in the yard where its impact might be more concentrated. An update to this review will be provided once the projector has been tested in its new position. A particularly appealing feature is the unit's ability to connect with Govee's DreamView within the app. For those familiar with Govee products, DreamView offers excellent capabilities for syncing multiple lights and creating immersive scenes. This integration ensures seamless control and customization of the projector's effects in conjunction with other Govee lights. Overall, despite the initial observation regarding brightness for a very large area, the unit is genuinely impressive. Its quality is high, the effects are beautiful, and the app integration is fluid. Consideration is being given to purchasing a second unit for another section of the yard. Easy to install and pair with your phone, could use more features and effects but when added to holiday lights it add just a great amount of visual appeal. Worked great out of the box and never a single issue. Will use it again for the next holiday season.

Of all the govee products we got this year. This one is under performing for what I hoped to get out of it. I love the app, the setup was easy, and the build quality seems solid. However, the light itself it weak and hard to see. I have had much cheaper laser projectors before that look like they contained the power of the sun compared to this. I do not know if it is just the one, we have or an issue with the entire series of these projectors. Maybe ok for inside but outside sadly it is not sufficient.

I love the way these lights work easy to install great brightness and makes the holidays fun. Coverage is perfect , the look of amazing and i love the timer

I am so disappointed in Govee on this one; they had to know how bad these were and sold them anyway. HUGE swing and a miss. I had such high hopes for this, I bought 3 of them at a discounted price of 79.99 ea. I have Govee Pro 200 light set on my house and even from 10 feet away, they are so dim the aurora is barely visible and the laser lights only a little bit better. If this were the only lights on my dark house, they might work, but I thought they would match well w my Govee Pro. I returned all 3. In addition to that, the scenes and UI is extremely limited for a Govee product. I would take the projectors you can get anywhere from $15-20, before I would use these. In fact I did. Go back to the drawing board Govee, and design something fitting for the price. Dont wreck your good image with products you know are crap; we will call it on you every time...

Love Govee products! Works great! Have it on Christmas mode in our living/family room. Great ambience with the lit up tree whilst watching movies in the dark.

The projector light was purchased for my son who hurt his back and couldn't put up his lights. The projector did the job. Beautiful. Excellent
