Worth it!
The Peak Design Small Packing Cube has quickly become one of my favorite travel accessories. The size is perfect for weekend trips, carry-on travel, or organizing smaller items inside a larger suitcase. The materials feel premium, the zippers are smooth, and the compression feature helps maximize packing space. My favorite feature is the separate dirty clothes compartment. Being able to keep worn clothes isolated from clean ones makes a huge difference when traveling, especially on longer trips. It’s one of those features that seems simple until you use it and wonder how you ever traveled without it. The only downside is the price. There’s no question that this packing cube costs significantly more than many alternatives. That said, the quality, thoughtful design, and durability help justify the premium cost if you travel frequently, or if you just appreciate great travel accessories! Overall, this is an exceptionally well-designed packing cube that delivers exactly what it promises. If the price doesn’t scare you away, it’s a fantastic addition to your travel kit.

Amazingly fun to use packing cube
If you’re looking for a compressible packing cube that feels more like a treat than a travel chore, the Peak Design Packing Cube is it. This is the kind of gear that actually makes you happy when you use it. It’s incredibly lightweight, yet the material feels premium and thoughtfully crafted—like something built to last through a thousand miles and still look good doing it. The zippers are excellent, smooth and durable, and the pull tabs make opening and closing a breeze (seriously, it’s kind of satisfying). Inside, there’s plenty of space for multiple shirts and pants, and the compression function works beautifully when you need to tighten things down for space. If you’re tired of flimsy cubes that frustrate more than they help, this is a game changer. It’s minimal, sleek, and feels like one of those small luxuries that actually delivers.

The best packing cube I’ve used
I’ve been using packing cubes for 15 years, and this is the best I’ve found. Even though Peak Design calls it a “medium”, it’s a large compared to others, and offers enough space to fit a week of travel clothes & casual wear without overstuffing it. It seems this packing cube was made to work with the Peak Design travel backpack, but it fits perfectly in most popular 35-40L travel backpacks and small rollaboard luggage. I especially like the separate compartment where I can store dirty clothes and detergent sheets in a sandwich bag in case I need to do laundry on an extended trip. The only negative point for the packing cube is while the rip-open feature is fun, the zippers do not close all the way, but a #1-size S-biner will fix that and keep them closed as they have a tendency to open if you pack it completely full. This is a great design, and the materials are top-notch. If you value high-quality luggage, you’ll want these packing cubes to go with them!

My clothes are flat, my wallet is empty, and I am trapped in an elite luggage cult.
Let’s get one thing straight: this is a piece of fabric with two zippers. It should not make me feel this emotionally secure. I bought the Small Compression Cube because I was tired of my luggage looking like a bomb went off in a thrift store every time I opened it. When it arrived, I thought, "Great, I just paid premium-steak money for a glorified ziplock bag." Then I packed it. I don't know what kind of dark, space-bending sorcery Peak Design engineered into this material, but it violates the laws of physics. I stuffed four t-shirts, a pair of jeans, three pairs of socks, and enough underwear to survive an unexpected layout change into this thing. It looked like a overstuffed burrito. I pulled that secondary compression zipper—which feels rugged enough to secure a cargo plane—and zipppp. It shrank. It didn’t just compress; it vanished my packing sins. My suitcase now looks like an organizational spreadsheet, and it satisfies my inner neat freak to a degree that is probably unhealthy. The material feels like parachutes and high-end tents had a baby. It has a dirty clothes compartment so my clean shirts don't have to mingle with the socks that spent 14 hours walking around Chicago. It’s perfect. It’s flawless. And that is exactly the problem. I am now fully infected with the Peak Design virus, but I am cursed with a normal human budget. I want to review more of their stuff. I desperately want to tell the world if the 30L Everyday Backpack will finally make me look like a sleek, urban tech-professional instead of a guy who carries too many cables. I want to test the Travel Backpack to see if it can hold my clothes and my shattered financial dreams. But guys, your gear is priced like it’s forged from vibranium by elven craftsmen. If I buy that 30L backpack, I won't need to worry about packing for travel anymore, because I won't be able to afford a plane ticket. I’ll just be sitting in my living room, wearing my impeccably compressed clothes, staring at my beautiful, empty backpack. Five stars for the cube. Six stars for the engineering. One star for my bank account's upcoming existential crisis. Pros: Shrinks reality, keeps dirty laundry quarantined, zippers could survive a minor explosion. Cons: Acts as a gateway to an incredibly expensive ecosystem. Please send help (or a discount code).

Highest quality materials that will last and excellent compression features
Peak design make the absolute best compression packing cubes. The quality of the materials are top notch, very durable and easily foldable to put away when not used. The zipper is excellent, never gets caught up when zipping, easy to pull along without struggling to hold and pull along and being made from high quality materials. This packing cube has been used on multiple trips and still going strong and looking good. Some people may criticize that there is no window to see what is inside but having used that type as well and from experience it doesn’t matter. Why? Because even with those types of packing cubes you will either be only able to see the top item stored or if rolling items up and storing horizontally not be able to see everything so finally you will end up having to open up the bag anyway. Lastly the compression factor in this design is fantastic, you will be amazed with what you can fit into one. The Peak Design packing cube is money very well spent for a high quality product that will last a looonngg time.

Almost perfect
Very nice packing cubes. I like the easy open zippers and the separate pouch for dirty clothes. I dropped one star because I don’t think the compression is great.

Perfect packing cube.
High quality and perfect size. Seems to fit almost all my luggage and travel backpacks. Only issue is when overstuffed the zipper pulls inch back, slightly opening the cube. Not ideal for a packing cube. That said, It's by far my favorite cube for size and ease of use. I can often fit all my clothes into the cube for a weekend (or longer depending on activities), meaning I can throw my packing cube, tech pouch and toiletries kit and toss into any bag that best suits the trip needs.

Great compression cubes if you don't overstuff them, high quality packing
I looked and reviews for many compression cubes before trying these. I ordered two of medium more square ones, and one of the smaller rectangular ones. I have added both a video and photos. Amazon would only let me add one video so I chose to show you how it fits in a 60L duffle bag. The photos also show them in a hard sided 20" carry on wheeled case for scale. Just as others noted, the quick release to open zipper do come partially open on their own if too over-stuffed. I had to play around with them to see how to fold and how much would fit in it. My tendency was to over fill, rather than pack less. Somewhat of a learning curve on my part. I do think they are of high quality and zippers seem as though they will last, the company says lifetime warranty on them so that's a plus. I like that the edges are rather floppy around the zipper unlike the Thule cubes which are stiff and hold shape. The fabric almost feels like a tyvek fabric, super lightweight. In the gray one, I put 9 shirts and 3 pairs of pants (4 thin lightweight fabric and 5 cotton t-shirts, the pants were 1 pr yoga style stretchy and 2 lightweight quick dry style), The other white cube has: 1 pr jeans, 1 pr thick cotton sweatpants, 1 pr fleece pj bottoms, one Patagonia re-tool fleece jacket and 1 Patagonia down vest) and the smaller cube (rectangle one) has: 7 pr underwear, 7 pr ankle socks, 1 pr cotton crew sock, 1 bra and had room for a few more things) I didn't care for the loss of space around the internal framework of the wheeled luggage, the packed cubes ride above it, so there is air space around the frame inside the suitcase. I think I would have to get creative on using up that space. I think overall these are fantastic, and I have ordered one more small cube, depending on the bag/pack or suitcase, you may need to play around with configuration for your needs. I also would like to add that I put this gray medium and gray small cube packed as it is, inside the mail compartment of an Osprey Nebula backpack and they fit!

Valem cada centavo!
Meu terceiro packing cube da Peak Design, são meio caros mas são definitivamente os melhores do mercado. Tenho dois pequenos e um grande, da pra fazer várias combinações dependendo de quantos dias é a viagem. 10/10
