LG SK1 All-in-One Soundbar, Black

When you can feel the thunder in a film and think it’s actually happening outside your home in real life, that’s a sign! This soundbar is simple to operate and the quality is good. Rewatching certain films, I’ve heard things I’ve never heard before and you can feel them too. Has enhanced our home viewing experience greatly.

Excellent sound, and bluetooth option is really useful. I use it as my genral music speaker when the tv's off, and easy pairing and setup with LG television. Great value for money, strongly recommend, even if you dont own and LG television. No need to spend silly money on a soundbar with this one.

The LG SK1 is a sensible size (25 inches long ) it fits nicely in front of the LG TV I use it on. Sound quality is good, an improvement on just the TV speakers. I connected with a Amazon basic Optical audio link cable it works very well.

A great addition to a small tv that has poor sound quality. Easy to use.

Looked very nice when opened, fits exactly where I want it with it being 65cm long, sound quality good, has mounting holes on back if you want to use them. But the biggest flaw is that it does not have much in the way of adjustable settings for music. You have standard mode, Bass blast and DRC on or off, even my cheap soundbar has full adjustable bass, treble and preset modes.One good point is that it can sync with your LG TV but not all functions work because the LG remote doesn't have to options to turn on DRC, Bass blast and switch modes. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Modern flat screen TV's have down firing speakers, so as much sound is heard from the back of the TV as the front, so not ideal especially if your hearing is not as good as it used to be. This soundbar cures all that because, speakers face you, more natural sound, dont need sub-titles as often, simple one cable(optical), control sound thru TV remote, less volume needed(not bounced of TV stand/cabinet), neat and with Amazons price go for it!

LG stuff isn't really that good imho.I have the latest Oled tv, sound quality isn't that great.Not really impressed with sound quality of this sound bar either.Bright red Led in centre of speaker mesh is annoying when watching tv.Remote has limited functionality, you've no clue as to what setting you've engaged as no on screen info, even tho it's connected to the latest spec LG tv, you only get flashing Led's shown in the speaker mesh on the unit which is just confusing.

Sound is very good and provides the audio we needed for a kitchen TV where the background noises in the room can be loud but this has enough power to overcome that issue. Lovely and small size. Meets our expectations without breaking the bank and so much better than the internal TV speakers.
