Roland KC-150 just what the Dr. of sound needed
I was using a small Roland acoustic amp to power my Beat Buddy mini & the bass sounded like it was beating on a plastic trash can. Then I bought this amp & now the bass drum sounds like it should. I play with cats who use keyboard amps on their guitar & say they love the sound. This amp also has a mic input. I mean, it does it all. I love it!

This is NOT a stereo mixing amp
I have no complaint about the quality of this amp. It's sounds very good. A very misleading title description... it states that it's a stereo mixing amp which is why I bought it. It is not. It's mono in, mono out. Roland is clear on what a stereo mixing amp is and amazon has misused the term. If they had a picture of the back of the amp I would have noticed that it is mono.. but no picture.

Can't Go Wrong With This One
Excellent Amp. Very versatile. It has been used not only as a keyboard amp, but makes an excellent stand-in guitar and bass amp also.

Incredibly flexible amp! Keyboards, guitars too!
Fabulous amplifier! I use for keyboarding gigs, and am really pleased with the low end rich sound and clear high ends. I've auditioned many amplifiers over the years and pound for pound this one is a terrific performer! I recently splurged a bit and also bought a KC-350, which give a little extra oomph at venues. The 350 likes to stay in the car because it's a beast to carry but this one is very manageable.I also started using the KC-150 with my electric guitar and bass. I've noticed it does an excellent job with my Digitech RP-500 Amp modeling multi effects pedal. Surprised? I was a bit, but actually it's exactly what you want with today's latest amp modeling technology. You don't want to color the sound more. I think it makes alot of sense that a keyboard amp could handle a guitar well because of the huge range that a piano needs to cover on it's own. Yes it doesn't have drive like a true guitar amp, but I like clean sounds and my pedals do all the effects I need and ithe amp has no trouble transmitting them. The mixing functionality is also very useful. You can send a few instruments, adjusts their levels and have a fully mixed line level out, ready for PA or recording! I play covers so I can play the original into one of the line ins and easily mix it with my instrument for a great practice at home. You can even use the headphones so you don't bother a soul!I strongly recommend getting a nice stand for the amplifier as getting it off the floor really lets it shines and removes a bit of low-end excess.5 stars. Awesome for small gigs and home!

Workhorse
I mostly use it in my rehearsal room for keys. But, it has done double duty amplifying guitar (on gigs too), voice and some miscellaneous mic'ed instruments, including EWI and chromatic harmonica.Honestly, I don't know if it's the very best sounding amp for the money. But, it always sound fine to me.The fact that it has 4 inputs with separate volume controls has often been very convenient. One has XLR.Note: no reverb. EQ is master only, not for each channel.Seems to be built like a tank.

Great sound!
Very nice amplifier, and not too heavy to carry. Should manage most of our gigs.

Slightly disappointed
Bought this based on description. I was considering the Behringer equivalent but plumbed for the Roland being an industry standard. Not sure I made the right choice. Reviews of the Behringer complained of overstating the power and capability; well the same applies to this Roland. Gigged one time with it, in a small band and it lacked everything it should have had. The KC150 is a bedroom amp; now consigned to the 'no longer used' room.
