It comes with a remote control and can also be connected to an app on your phone. It is water resistant and can be used on a patio or in a garage. It should be mounted on a wall for safety.

This thing gets hot fast and puts out a good amount of heat. I tested it but have not yet installed it in a fixed position. It is powerful enough to heat an outdoor seating area, I plan to attach it to our backyard canopy gazebo. The attachment brackets are made of sturdy metal.
