Always go oem
Not intended to be shooting in your neighbors poolโฆbut serve the purpose in humid conditions or out on the boat a lot. Building a G45 19x clone. Got the oem +2 in black for all 3 mags and oem lanyard ring. These were the icing on the lakes cake! Good truck is to flip the firing pin over and put it back in to use as a table to depress your spring and install these cups. Makes sure they align correctly and allow the spring to engage. Good to go! Donโt mess with perfection in life saving reliability! Always go oem!

Better nothing left to chance
I haven't tried shooting underwater yet (never will on purpose) but will go on the assumption that the videos I have seen mean these work when installed as shown.I just bought land on a river and plan on building there. With wild animals always around and who knows what else I decided I'd carry my Glock 19 as a sidearm. I walk the river sometimes, weather permitting, and thought about what would happen if I dropped it or fell in the water and then needed it. It is just one of those things about how paranoid do you want/need to be but for as inexpensive as they are... Better nothing left to chance.EDIT: As of 5-15-15 I have put thousands of rounds through my Glock 19 and it has performed flawlessly with these installed!EDIT: I just bought a new Glock 19X and bought these again to install. I was reading through the reviews and saw a guy saying that you must have these installed by a Glock specialist. That is the biggest load of horse hockey I have ever read! If you cannot install these EASILY, you have absolutely NO BUSINESS owning a firearm. This isn't a trigger job... You aren't converting to fire full auto... It's a spring cup!As I wrote 7 years ago... i have continued to fire thousands of 9mm through my original Glock with no issues. Never a jam and always accurate! I love my Glocks!

Get these, OEM Glock Maritime Cups as advertised. Do NOT get the Ghost cups
I bought a pair of OEM Glock Maritime spring cups over 15 years ago before Ghost had knock-offs or other brands of aftermarket knock-offs were available. These are the real deal. The thinnest part measures 0.017" and if you combine the split cups together, they are a perfect fit looking as if they were cut from a single molded piece. If you look at the Ghost maritime cups that are "made to OEM specs", they don't merge together properly and looked like they were individually molded to save money, and are substantially thinner. The Ghost Turbo maritime spring cups are a different story. They seem to be made a lot better.I've shot over 6000 rounds through my original Glock maritime cups without any problems, so I'm going to keep using these.

Use with hydrophobic deep water rated ammo
These cups are operationally approved for contractors operating in hostile deep water arenas. Be sure your ammunition is properly sealed and rated for deep water operations. If you do not have such ammo, these cups may be of little value. Due to hydraulic infiltration, even in deep water rated ammo, I now keep my ammo in sealed hydrophobic bags and load my magazines after surfacing and terminating the deep water phase of the operation. Even at my high proficiency level, loading magazines takes a few minutes and by then, my Glock's firing pin channels have de-pressurized enough to be operational with standard cups. (I dual-wield G18s for most all deep water operations because I am really cool). I wish I could explain more but it is all really very high level top super secret stuff.

But it's good to know that I'm shark and gator proof lol
Haven't dump my glock into any water to test it out but it did fit my glock 30sf gen 3 and did take it out to the range and put out a few hundred rounds with no issue. Is this a necessary upgrade, probably not. But it's good to know that I'm shark and gator proof lol.

Flawless
Glock original parts and showed up fast. For like a glove and well worth the price. Tested a full magazine underwater and my G17 Gen 3 functioned flawlessly.

These Work Fine
I fired off one of the stock spring cups during a full strip cleaning and needed them quick. I bought these because they were prime and fit the bill. I did not have the fit issue that others complained of and they worked just fine on a G17/G19 and G27. I have had no issues on the range and these go in all new Glock assemblies after its first full breakdown clean. Not that I expect to need them underwater, but more so a cheap insurance policy in case I do.

Next level reliability
Somewhat challenging to install but requires more patience than skill. I have not tried these while submerged but got them for cool factor.
