Onces again another great book from our loveable Italian ChefsBought Two Greedy Italians and had to buy this, as the two greedy italians is well used and thumbed!Saw the program and had to have the book.Once again excellent photography's of Italy,Lots of very good write ups of their trip around ItalyThe recipes very simple to do, which I like.Cacciucco Fish Soup Stew, lots of different fish & shell fish can be added to this, what every you can get, the tasty is yummy, lots of fresh bread to dip into it.Tortino al Cioccolato Caldo ( warm min chocolate puddings)so simple to make and a favourite hereSpaghetti alla Pizzaiola (Spaghetti with Pizzaiola sauce) grandchildren's favouriteraspberry & Lemon Ice Cream, another family favourite.Again I could go on and on, But buy the book and try them yourself

Carluccio and Contaldo are the best thing to come out of Italy since Pasta. They are an awesome pair who should be given a permanent prime time spot on the TV. Fantastic recipies easily explained with a few anecdotes and snippets thrown in by the Italian duo. La prima negli alimenti!

I enjoyed both series of 'Two Greedy Italians' and bought the books to try out the recipes. They have proved a real favourite in our house because there are lots of simple but delicious recipes, that don't require lots of complex ingredients or time to cook. Like the first book, this one has interesting text (I wouldn't normally read a cookbook in this way!) and cultural insights, as well as very clear instructions. I also really appreciate that there are clear photos of every recipe. Highly recommended!

I bought this for a friend who usually cooks middle eastern food. We were invited round to a meal recently and most of the items on the very vast menu were taken from this book: and they were fantastic! Apparently it is very easy to follow. I may even be tempted to buy it for myself!

Ah - the rest of the trip across Italy at last!A wonderful experience to behold - beautiful landscapes/scenery, wonderful people and customs, great relationship between Carluccio and Contaldo - most of all, the food, the food, the food! Superb!

Received this lovely book in good time and in excellent condition. I would highly recommend the book and the seller. Will use them again without hesitation. Beautifully double wrapped parcel. Now I need to get cooking some of the fabulous recipes.

Bought this as a gift for hubby who'd loved the series & who loves the book. The pictures alone are enough to make your mouth water but we're looking forward to trying the recipes & pretending we're sitting under the Italian sun.

Best thing about this book for me was to learn more about the georgraphy and social history which is the main reason why I bought it - after seeing some of the tv series -great photography as usual from Loftus.Recipies not so exciting, but nice and simple which is good for these times -definately one or two memorable things though- on the whole a nice book to read and take time over.
