The overall quality of the swaddle is very good, and it is soft and comfortable to wear against the skin - it will certainly help keep a baby warm both indoors or outdoors. According to the label, the outer layer is 100% cotton and the inner lining is polyester microfleece. The swaddle is designed to be suitable for wearing throughout the year and the microfleece in the top half of the swaddle can be removed - attached the swaddle is rated as 1.5 tog and without it is rated as 0.5 tog. It has Velcro closures that will grip onto just about anything, and the hook side is quite rough so it’s best to ensure it does not come into contact with the baby’s skin. The swaddle can be machine washed, the instructions are on the label – machine wash at 30°C, iron at low temperature, do not bleach, do not tumble dry or dry clean, and there is a safety warning “Keep away from fire.” The swaddle arrived packed in a very nice box – just add some nice wrapping paper and it will be a great gift for a new baby. This is brilliant for bed time, the lining is very soft and comfortable for new born delicate sleep, It's helped my new born sleep when before I was just swaddling them with a blanket.It is lovely and thick, so will keep your baby warm during the colder months, I would only recommend using once it gets cold as it is very warm and could overheat your baby.other than that, the stitching is of a very high standard and it's easy to wash. Great Swaddle that my new born simply loves.

Especially in the washing machine, it grabs everything. You don't want to ruin your other garments whilst washing. It's strong stuff to do an FYI on that.It arrives is a nice little presentation box. No fancy colours just a plain box that shows off it's little Bambis to its best advantage. It's lovely and soft and the lining is held securely in place my metal domes. The wings are long enough to wrap up the little chubsters and length is just fine for the age group. I wish the leg end was a bit wider around the feet, I feel as the baby grows it might be a bit tight. Not that it really matters, they grow so damned quick that after a month of use its next size up. A care label is sewn into the seam for washing instructions.It's a nice snuggy and I'm looking forward to seeing how the new arrival looks in it. I just hope nothing like the one in the photo, lol!

This item arrived in branded box and is suitable to give as a gift.It's a decorated soft fabric with press studs and velcro fastenings to ensure that baby is securely swaddled without the risk of it coming loose and covering baby.Not everybody agrees with swaddling but it comes down to personal preference.This really is a lovely gift, and the feel of the fabric is very soft, I've no reason not to award this item 5☆s, however, should any issues arise after multiple wash cycles I will return and edit this review accordingly.
