Perkin - Damascus Steel Hunting Knife Full Tang with Fire Starter

This is a beautiful knife. I put a video review on youtube. The leather is strong and stiff! The blade is razor sharp and keeps its edge very well. The wood used is just as beautiful as the picture.2 complaints. 1. My knife was not exactly the same as pictured, obviously striation in the folding was not a big deal, that's unique...but the rear jibbing in the tang facing the palm had only half of the notches as pictured, placed further apart. This is definitely not a deal breaker but would appreciate updated photos for design reference.2. The fire steels sheath slot is VERY loose. I could remedy with water soaking, but have instead replaced the leather strap with braided paracord and a d-ring that sits around the main snap and locks in place.

I like the knife its pretty solid, the sheath is good too but I am quite upset the wood in the fire rod is not the same wood as in the knife as pictured. Its pictured that way and makes a difference in representation. Its really would have been nice if it matched the handle as pictured, the devil is in the details perkins.

Good knife

I love the knife. Great knife, great, noticeable quality. Not a huge fan of the sheath. I'd much prefer a lower profile, more open sheath. Not to mention that I bought two of these knives since they were such a great deal, and the flimsy little piece of leather that serves as the belt loop for the sheath ripped with less than a days use.

Best knife I've ever used. This sets the standard for a bushcraft blade. The edge is razor sharp and keeps the edge well.

Sheeth fell apart first time I used it came off my belt leather is all cracked around the stitching and the material used for the stitching just rips terrible quality sheath knife is ok nothing special
