This has been very helpful to cover my husband's surgical incision so that he can prevent water entering the incision while showering. It is also easy to remove without difficulty and yet protects at the same time. Another benefit is the cost!

I'm currently wearing a small heart monitor for 2 weeks. Says I can shower with it but not to get it under water. Reviews were good for these but had to wait for it to arrive. Bought some cvs brand to use for a couple of days. I placed gauze over the monitor so the film wouldn't stick to it... Cvs was not water proof and peeled almost instantly soaking the gauze underneath! Just used these from Amazon today and not only were they easier to apply but the stuck to my skin and the gauze was dry after the shower. Didn't pull on my skin and easily removed when I was done! Not only was the price way better, you got more in the package and they worked great!

This transparent film dressing performed exactly as I needed it to during my post-surgery recovery. I used it to protect my incision site while showering, and I'm pleased to report it worked flawlessly. What worked well: The adhesive quality is impressive - it stayed securely in place throughout multiple showers without lifting at the edges or corners. I never had to worry about it peeling off mid-shower, which gave me great peace of mind during recovery. Most importantly, it kept my incision completely dry. The waterproof seal was reliable, and I didn't experience any water seepage underneath the dressing. This allowed me to shower normally without the stress of trying to keep the area dry with plastic bags or other makeshift solutions. The transparent design was also helpful because I could easily monitor my incision site without having to remove and replace the dressing constantly. Bottom line: If you need a dependable waterproof barrier for wound care, especially post-surgery, this product delivers. It stayed put, kept water out, and made recovery much easier. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable wound protection during showering.

Bought these to cover my weekly estrogen patch because they were less expensive than the Tegaderm brand. They do the job for about 1/4 of the price. They are thinner than a Tegaderm (or feel it at least) and wrinkle more easily when you put on in and then peel away the border. I have noticed that they also are more difficult to remove, or at least they really stick to my skin and resist even the “hold skin taut and lift/stretch to release” method that I have always used (nurse and medic for over 25 years), and instead leave a LOT of adhesive residue behind. Giving 4 stars because they are adequate at doing their job and the price is great, but the drawbacks are worth losing a star over IMO.

I'm a Little Over One Month late but I thought I'd go ahead & write... I'm Just BLOWN away by these by how good these are... I NEVER heard of these & found out because in like 6 Months from Now I have to have Surgery on a Scar that has Grown OVER Whiming over the Past Year... It didn't help that I was CONSTANLY Scratching from it Inching ALL THE TIME... So, Before that day comes The Doctor Subscribed me with "CLOBETASOL" Ointment to help the inching... With it he asked me to go to the Store to get some "TRANSPARENT DRESSING" to KEEP the Ointment from getting everwhere, At the time I'd NEVER heard of it. So thought it be good to Buy a Pack of 30 AMAZON, COMPARED to What WAL-MART wanted for "JUST 8" SMH... I'm Supposed to use my Ointment 2 times a day, so there have been times that IT CAN STICK TOO GOOD in Having to Remove the Transparent to Apply the Ointment.... An of Course 30 Comes in the box... Apon writing I've gotten a Bit low so I Just Ordered & Received 2 MORE which I thought I'd go ahead and Prepare for MONTH's ... These Have been GREAT, they are HUGE which can Cover a Great Amount of the Area You'd like... EVER LASTING & WATERPROOF, so Taking Showers WILL NOT Affect ANYTHING... A RECOMMENDED GREAT Product from YHOVID...

These were perfect for protecting an incision site. I placed a small square of nonstick gauze in the middle, and it kept the site clean and dry even through a shower. A bit tricky to get off as they adhere very well. I started to peel off just a tiny bit and then held onto the skin underneath and gently pulled it off.

I've gotten these from the hospital before and needed more for certain applications. Looked them up on a whim and had no idea if you could get them over the counter, so this was fantastic. Hospital grade and great for ointments, larger wounds, and anything you need to seal entirely to keep sterilized or contained as it doesn't absorb in the skin entirely, etc.

First -- I am old. I have thin skin. I found this sticks so great, it was very difficult to get it off without hurting my skin. But it is truly waterproof. It did a great job protecting the wound I had on my arm.
