THIS STUFF WORKS
I’m very happy with this product because it is durable, easy to work with and it does exactly what it says it will. I had this put on two large south facing windows and when the sun is on them, the windows are cool, even when it is 95 degrees outside. It also provides a good measure of privacy. You can’t see through it well from the outside but you can see out from the inside perfectly well. Definitely a good value for the money.

Very pleased with this product!
Wow! I took my time cutting the screen to fit my sliding door screen frame making sure the fabric pattern was aligned vertically and horizontally, and then slowly replaced the screen with the roller tool. After replacing the screen on the frame I took my utility knife and removed the excess screen around all sides of screen frame. Honestly, the fabric was perfectly aligned on the frame, and the fabric was taut thanks to the roller tool and the bent ended driver-looking tool. I’m very pleased with it! I live in the desert with the intensely hot summers. I will be replacing the sun screens on my windows next. The color is black. Visibility- blocks out intense sunlight but is still see-through. Easy to install!

Great sun blocking screen
Love, love, love these screens. Blocks much of the sun and keeps the house cooler. Liked it so much, went out and bought more rolls to do the whole house.

Thick, just the way it should be.
Great to cut out direct sunlight. Very strong, yet pliable to allow cording to hold the mesh in place while making screen.

Worked As Expected
It is doing a great job of keeping excess heat from getting through the window. The difference is remarkable!

It works!
Had to custom build 2 screens to fit my 100 year old house. Placed on south facing windows and they make a huge difference! Ordered more rolls to build screens for 3 west facing windows. Great product!

Will do a decent job, but better sun guards are out there...
I bought this on Amazon thinking it would be the same mesh-type as the brand I originally bought (and used up) from Home Depot. First of all, this exact same product, dimensions and all, I later found on Home Depot's website for HALF the price. 16 dollars and some cents here--7 dollars on Home Depot. So, I preface this by suggesting you buy it from there (assuming the price doesn't increase). Now, having said that, this stuff does an OK job. The original product I was using (really wish I could remember the brand) had a tightly-woven patter than is thick and blocks light really well. Imagine a wicker basket; it was woven that way. The Saint-Gobain product, however, isn't woven. The pattern is melded together, with small squares like the regular bug screen. It blocks some more sun than those regular bug screens, but not near as much as the wicker basket screens I had. Another negative is the durability. DO NOT slip with your knife even the slightest. I got a screen fully installed, and in the last bit of work cutting off the excess, I nicked the inner side and sliced through it. I patched it with a bit of tape and was fine with that, but I'm warning you. My slip was relatively tiny. One pro about this product is that it's actually easier to work with. Because the wicker basket stuff is so thick, it's harder to get the spline in place. This stuff is flat and thin by comparison, so working it into the groove went much quicker.
