OUTREE Sensory Tent 47 * 47 * 47 in - easy to travel with!
Kids under the age of 10 love a quiet space to call their own. The tent arrives folded in a circle enclosed in a zippered fabric storage case. Once you release it from the storage case it pops up into the tent as shown on the webpage. The part that makes the structure are thin metal wires that are capable of being folded back into a circle. I would suggest you either video or take pictures of how it unfolds and pops up so you can watch your video or look at your pictures and figure out how to get it back into the storage case. I have a similar cat house that folds back into a circle and the website had a video showing how to return it to the storage case. The webpage for this tent does not have a video but there are a couple of reviews with videos but I didn’t find them helpful to return the tent to its storage case. I took a video and practiced immediately. The tent has enough space for a child up to age 10 to stretch out and rest. If sitting I would say three kids age 10 and under would fit comfortably. A toddler would have room to run around. Once popped up you have to insert rods on the top front that are metal and bound together by elastic rope running through the rods. Again an easy task. It has a door that can be closed using Velcro, there is a covered window on each side that when opened is covered with a mesh material which will keep the bugs out if you want to use this outdoors. It is very lightweight so you wouldn’t want to use this outdoors on a windy day. With the door and windows closed it is totally dark inside the tent. The 9 and 10-year-old kids LOVE the tent.

Great for kids with or without autism
My nephew's son with autism would have loved this back in the day. To anyone reading this the medical condition can be very frustrating. But with therapy or possibly without great things can happen. He is now in high school, and an extremely good saxophone player. Or perhaps exceptional.Anyway it's also great for kids without the medical condition. My 3 year old grandson loves it, and even likes to sleep in it when he comes over. And yes something to soften the ground is pretty much required. He also loves playing in it, and just chilling sometimes with his gameboy type toy. And it is really cool in there, especially for the younger ones. Highly recommended it you think your loved one will like it.

Much larger than you think!
I got this for my kids that have sensory issues. It is really humongous and much larger than I anticipated. It does fold up, similarly to car windshield sun shades, yet has one one part on the top where you insert the connectable stick that it comes with. That helps to hold up the top part.I left it in the garage for a few days because it did have a strong chemical smell. That's why I brought it down a star, I'm really sensitive to that sort of thing.I like that it comes with a carrying bag. It's not really suitable for what I had purchased it for, which is taking it to places where it might be loud to help my kids have an escape, just due to how big it is. It is useful and serves it purpose.

Super dark inside
My son has a bunch of play tents, and he always wants me to throw a blanket over the others to make them darker inside. I got this tent knowing it would be dark inside, but I wasn’t expecting pitch black. He absolutely loves it. He takes a flashlight inside with him and has a blast. One thing of note is that the tent can get very hot inside since it’s made of a plastic sort of material. Opening the windows can help with this a lot, and we like putting a fan at one end. The tent feels well made and is easy to assemble. Getting it back in the bag can be difficult, but with a few tries, it's easy to get the hang of. If you have a child who likes playing with flashlights in the dark or just need a space that is non-stimulating, this could be perfect for you.

Sensory tent is amazing!
This sensory tent is amazing. The design on the outside is like a starry sky. On the inside it is pitch black. There are windows and a door that you can roll up and let down. It is nice and big and is like a little playhouse. My grandson loves it! We put his mattress in it and now he sleeps great. He gets in there and lays on his mattress, watches his ipad, or plays with his toys. At nap time or night time he lays down with his blanket and pillow and goes right to sleep. If he needs a timeout he goes to his room and gets inside his tent house. It was easy to put together and the price is decent for the product. Sturdy lightweight material. I’m extremely happy with it!

OUTREE Sensory Tent 47 * 47 * 47 in,Starry Night Print,Sensory Tent for Kids with Autism
I got this for my son who has times where he gets overwhelmed and then goes into a meltdown. I wanted something to help calm him without it feeling like a punishment. This tent is perfect for that. It is bigger than I expected, but that allowed me to put a pillow and a blanket in there along with some stuffies and his soft night light. The tent is well made and went up super easy, as it is ready right out of the carrying bag. All I had to do was insert the 1 pole and voila! perfect tent for calming or playing. I like that it has the roll up panels so that it can either be used for complete darkness, or rolled up to allow the room light in. He and his sister both like the tent's pattern. We are all very pleased with this product.

Fun, but not foldable
This tent opens really easily. The internal wire on one side never fully expanded, though it was 95% of the way there. I put a small chair inside the tent to give the wall a bit more shape. I've watched the vendor's videos several times. I was not able to adjust that side to get it completely right.Despite two adults watching the folding video 15+ times, we have NOT been able to get this back into the bag that it came it. We can make it completely flat. One reviewer noted that this allows it to be stored under a bed, which is a great suggestion. Storing it between a dresser and a wall would be another option. It is larger than I appreciated: two adults can sit in this tent comfortably. Kids love this tent and I think it will hold up pretty well.
