This game is fun enough for adults too
I like how small & compact this game is. I wasn't expecting it to be so small. 3AAA batteries later, I got the game powered up & had the kids go at it. They took a little bit to get the hang of pressing the buttons at the right time. The build quality is not bad at all. It feels sturdy & durable enough to withstand a drop or two. The sound is pretty loud. Even at its lowest, it's still loud. The various modes & speed of the game is fun. The kids enjoyed playing with the game for the most part. When it got difficult, they were reluctant to go any further. It does get difficult, but that's when it becomes fun for us adults. Price for value is absolutely justified.

Flashy and different
We all have our favorite games to play, and I tend to like the ones that are really different. This game certainly fits that bill. You have to be quick to catch all the flashing lights as they are dropped down towards your push buttons. It is a game of speed to see who can score the highest. I like the colors and the sounds, which are fun and encouraging to play the game. This is good for kids and adults, especially for family fun. The size is good as it fits in the hands comfortably and gives you plenty of board space to present a challenging game. Nice stocking stuffer this season!

Fun But Can Be Frustratingly Fast Paced
Feels rather cheap. Needs batteries. The instructions on the back of the box are ridiculous. Game can be frustrating in that sometimes it seems to not register button presses. The music is not needed, there is no rhythm button mashing involved here. Once you get the hang of it though, it can be lots of fun and super fast paced. The volume is quite loud. Overall it's a fun game but I think its list price is a little inflated. I do recommend at least trying it. Young kiddos and teens really seem to take to it.

Fun toy, bad rhythm game
Obviously this is for kids and my kid enjoys it, but if your looking for a portable rhythm game and your a fan of the genre I'd skip this. Hit detection is weird on higher speeds/ harder levels, the miss sound can get grating, and the buttons don't feel great, but for a young kid, this would be a fun toy.

Doesn't work
The media could not be loaded. So this toy arrived in what seemed to be a resealed box. Once we check it out and put new batteries in it and begin to play, seems like there's some sort of short behind the buttons because you can't actually play. It will turn on do its whole turn on cycle playing music but then once you begin to actually play once you hit a button or two it shorts out and shuts down. Just to make sure we did check and use a brand new pack of batteries and try it again. Same results. To

Lots if Fun
I ordered the Rhythm Game Machine for my grandkids but it has been a lot of fun for both the kids and adults. It was a bit too challenging for the 3 year old, but it doesn’t matter, she still takes her turn and says she won anyway. The older kids, 7, 9, 10, and 13, are having a blast trying to beat the others’ score. I finally bowed out as they were embarrassing me. Fun on the easy level for grandma, but after that, it was just too much. Granddad is hanging in there and wins a lot.I like the game because it’s small, seems well-built, durable, and it travels easily. Also, the volume can be lowered or turned off completely! 👏 👏 👏There are so many levels that I don’t think they will ever complete them, but the 13 year old is progressing well. This is a fun, interactive game at a good price.

Fun and engaging—batteries not included
I have mixed feelings about this. It is fun and intuitive, and I love the rhythm-based game play. Kids like it although it can get challenging and often frustrating for them, and I prefer this rather old-school mechanic to shiny touch screens anyway. The sound feels quite loud, which can get annoying when in a long drive. All in all, however, a nice fun product, and I’d recommend.
