Ergonomic Office Chair,Blue

Update 2: adjusting my review back to 5-stars I can report that I contacted the seller's support via Amazon and next day got a response from them with a phone number to call about the issue. I confirmed the problem, chair batch number (on the bottom), and sent another photo of the issue. The same day they sent me a replacement back plus a free lumbar support pillow. I couldn't say for sure if the replacement back is basically the same as the failed one, or is manufactured differently but either way they have extended a 3-year warranty on it. Probably with the lumbar support pillow in place - which is really nice by the way - there will be less wear and tear on the back anyway. If it lasts another 3 years with the original year I'll be more than happy with this purchase. BTW I'm not a plus sized guy who put a lot of wear and tear on the chair back but if it did fail after 3 years it is really easy to see how to repair the mesh attachment which is what I was going to do anyway before their support folk stepped in. Anyway I get it, sometimes product designs aren't perfect, or manufacturing isn't perfect but I stand by this chair being a nice design, comfortable, with a lot of features for the price, and as I've found 5-star support. Update: adjusting my review due to a recent flaw that was revealed. Last month I saw sitting in the chair and noticed that the back seemed really soft. On closer inspection I discovered the mesh had separated from the chair frame on one side. With a lot of effort I was able to jam it back into the slot that secures it although I wasn't convinced that was a good fix. Just now the same thing happened and I went to post a photo and saw that there's actually some dabs of glue here and there that have failed so clearly this is a flaw. I'm seeing from another person's photos they had the same experience and got a replacement back with an improved design. I'll see what happens. In all other regards I'm still very happy with the chair, it's not perfect but for the price I find it great value and very versatile. --- Original review For the price I'm really happy with this chair, I think it is a good compromise of price, comfort, features, and adjustability. The assembly too and extra pair of hands at one point but probably could have been done single handed, it was just a bit awkward. I'm pretty sure if you did it all the time you could throw them together in a half hour but it took me an hour. I had a small problem connecting one of the legs to the base "star" as the hole was just a little out of alignment. With some manual twisting as I inserted the bolt everything was good. It took me a little while to figure out all the ways to adjust it and get comfy in a work position, and a more relaxed sitting back watching a YouTube kind of position. Pros: 1. I like the mesh seat - I have hip pain on one side and a pretty bony behind and it is comfortable for long periods 2. The lumbar support feels good and adjustable enough for me 3. I'm not really using the head rest when I'm working but if I lay back and take a nap it's there for me 4. I dig the foot rest which is really a calf rest, it can really help take some pressure off your legs as an alternative to sitting with your feet on the ground 5. Reclining with my feet right out on the rest is very nice and fully back using the head rest I could definitely take a nap or even back sleep for an extended period. 6. It rolls well, doesn't squeak or creak, and generally feels and looks robust. Cons: 1. I wish the foot rest extension could be locked - it can sometimes end up retracting slowly with leg pressure, especially in the lower position 2. I wish the arm rests would lower another inch so I can get them under my desk so I can sit really close although this very much depends on your desk and your height. To be honest I don't really need to do that often. However the forward/back, and in/out (via swivel) works well for me and the tops are lightly padded which is enough for me. 3. It would be awesome if the seat pitch was adjustable but that's an advanced feature I think you mostly find on $500 chairs 4. Adjusting the back recline is a bit tricky - you will need to use the knob underneath to decrease the effort to do that. 5. There are only two recline lock positions (other than upright) - it would be nice if it could be locked in any angle And that's about it. After a week of use I feel it has been a great improvement after 3 weeks of sitting on a piano bench, and then another month of sitting on an exercise ball. I will update this review if I have any further findings.

This is a great chair that eases my old, tired back. The lumbar support is vital, and does the job for me. I purchased this chair in March of 2025. After about 1 year it began to lose the latching function that locks the chair in the 3 different reclining positions. I contacted their support site, and Winnie had me up and running (reclining) promptly. She sent a replacement main mechanism (to which the seat, and back attach) and I had it replaced in less than an hour. The cylinder that adjusts the height of the chair was very tight, and had to be knocked lose with a rubber mallet. I marked around the cylinder with a magic marker, so that I could see if I were making progress. Winnie also activated a 3 year warranty on the chair. The replacement mechanism seems better than the original. It has less spring tension, so that I can recline comfortably without having to latch the chair in a position. I would definitely purchase this chair if I had it to do all over again. Thank you Winnie, and your support team.

Product came well packed and with all the pieces and tools needed. Instructions for assembly were clear. They suggest having 2 people, but it can be assembled alone in about an hour. The chair is sturdy enough and not flimsy, but the fold out footrest sits too low to be comfortable without fully leaning back and is the only non-stable part of the build (also the only parts made entirely of plastic). I replaced the included wheels with blade wheels that popped right in no problem. The lumbar support doesn’t have a good way to lock it in place when moving up and down so it tends to slide when I lean against it, but the adjustability horizontally is nice. Looks fine, moves fine, and isn’t too bulky. Would’ve liked adjustable sliding armrests out instead of back for my wider hips but it’s not too bad.

I have significant neck and lower back issues related to degenerating discs. I recently took a new job which landed me back in an office away from my expensive, high-end office chair at home. When my new company offered to purchase a more ergonomic and comfortable chair for my office, my budget was not expansive enough for the name brand I have at home. My search landed on this Gabrylly economic office chair as a fair compromise. It turns out this chair has been FAR more than a compromise. My Gabrylly chair is not missing any of the comfort and back support I have in my chair at home. While there are fewer adjustment options on the Gabrylly, it has what I consider to be a core set of adjustment options: height, recline tension, recline lock, arm rest height, arm rest extension, and arm rest angle. The head rest is also adjustable in height and angle. The foot rest is a nice added feature. Initially, I didn't think I'd need it, but it actually is saving my under-desk garbage can from being deformed and my Ethernet connection from getting knocked out whenever I want to stretch my legs during a marathon Zoom or Teams call. It assembled fairly easily - they even tell you how to use the shipping box to help during assembly. I was able to do it in my office with the included t-handle hex tool. I did run into a slight issue with the gas rod. I reached out to Gabrylly support by email and received a quick and courteous response from Cayla. A new part was shipped immediately and arrived in two business days. I was incredibly impressed with Cayla's friendly response and follow-up throughout the process. It's good to know that, while I hope to never need support again, I'll be able to count on them if I do. I'm pretty happy with the build quality. It's too soon to comment on longevity, but I feel confident this chair will last. It's comparable to my chair at home, and at >$500 less expensive, I'm extremely impressed with the comfort and quality. I did purchase an aftermarket set of rubber rollerblade style chair casters, but I have those on my chair at home as well. (I've yet to find a set of stock casters that compare.) That being said, the chair is comparable to the higher end office chairs out there. In conclusion, I highly recommend this chair. It looks sharp, goes together easily, has great build quality, and most importantly, has the functions I need to help with my lower back and neck pain. Chair was good at first, then the fabric on the back separated from the frame. I reached out to the company, gave them a photo, and they immediately shipped me a replacement back for the chair which is now great. excellent service and support.

Cadillac could learn about customer service from these guys! So yes the chair lock mechanism broke. They sent out the parts and tools needed to fix the chair. After I gave up hope, because I was unable to separate the seat bottom from the piston. Their customer service kept calling, texting, and emailing me to get it right. They sent out a new piston and base. The chair is as good as new. Mind you, they sent out the parts and tools to fix it at no charge. Great customer service and they stood by the warranty. I have nothing to say but thank you for making it right. Thank you. As for the chair, I love it. Super comfy and makes my work day easier on my back.

I purchased this chair over a year ago for my home office. I wanted something nice, but without breaking the piggy bank. This chair has been fantastic. Super comfortable, high quality, and nice added features like the head rest and extendable foot rest. About 15 months after purchase, the seat back had an issue (fabric slipped out of the shell). I was super disappointed, thinking the chair was now a sunk cost. I contacted customer support, and to my surprise they shipped me a replacement chair back free of charge and extended the warranty on my chair from 3 years to 5 years. Wow!

This chair is fantastic, especially for the price I paid. I started working from home about seven months ago and quickly realized how uncomfortable my home office chair was, but I kept using it because I didn't want to spend money to replace something that worked. Over time I realized how poor my posture was becoming and how much my back hurt at the end of the day. So, my quest began to find a reasonably priced ergonomic office chair. It didn't take long to find exactly what I was looking for on Amazon. I read the reviews for several different chairs and decided on this one. Shipping was quick and assembly time was right around 40 minutes. While it wasn't difficult, I like to make sure I follow the instructions carefully and take my time. The instructions were in English and were very straight forward, so I had zero issues putting it together. I have been using the chair now a couple of days and couldn't be happier. It is extremely comfortable and there are many adjustment options to tweak it to find that perfect setting. The leg rest is okay but I can't see myself using it if I am being quite honest. One nice thing about the leg rest is that you can fold it under the chair and out of the way, like it isn't even there. The chair looks great and the size is perfect for me. I am 5'11" and weigh 175lbs. Everything about it is great quality and has been engineered very well. Even the packaging is top notch. If you are looking for a comfy office chair then you should really give this model a shot.
