Had a bunch of SAS drives I wanted to hook up to unraid. This helped me get power to each one.

Bought 4 and all of them worked first try. Easy to install, not a bad price for what it is. Not very flexlible, but it isn't supposed to be.

Soo useful I bought two. It comes in a box you wouldn't think could hold it, but it does. The design is long and more ribbon-like than the usual round one sees. It's very flexible. If there's anything I'd like to see is a top indicator so one wouldn't need to look at the plug straight-on to determine orientation. Overall yeah, good deal for the problem it solves.

Works well, got it installed and running without many issues. The connectors are standard SATA power connectors, and the "root" connector connected with ease and felt secure. The only issue I ran into is the cabling was a bit tough to work with, it's flat and doesn't twist easily, which I wound up having to do in my specific scenario. I feel like a jacketed wire would've maybe made that a bit easier, but it certainly didn't stop me from using it and it works absolutely fine.

I uses this to add some data drives outside the case of a small computer. I just 3D printed a holder for the drives and use this cable to get power to them.

The design of this style makes it possible to plug in 7mm SSDs side by side with minimal spacing. (Other very common styles of SATA power splitters have straight-through edge connectors which require about 20mm space between each drive.) I recommend the style you see here. These are the ones to get if you are designing a custom NAS enclosure and want to maximize space. The input power connector is also much easier to work with.

As someone with a custom 40-drive-capable NAS, I use a lot of power splitters, of various kinds, and this one is right up there with the best. The price could be lower, considering what little is needed in making these, but I would rather pay more for something good than pay less for something barely adequate. Overall I'm happy with my purchase. The wires are heavier gauge than I expected, and being separate instead of fused together actually makes them more flexible and seems like it will block less airflow than if they were all stuck together or wrapped in mesh. The connectors even have the words "SATA" and "Power" on them, which is a nice free addition to whatever mold/model they used. (I don't need that info personally, but it tickled my "attention to detail" a bit.) Best of all by far is having 6 ports, so you won't need as many of them as you would using the typical 1 to 4 or 1 to 5 power splitters. I can fashion my own cables from scratch, but that takes time, and they wouldn't turn out as nice as these cables -- plus my time is worth a lot more to me nowadays. I wish I had found these earlier, so I could have more of these instead of all the other splitters I already had. Hopefully it won't decrease in quality over time, because right now, this is a really good item.
