Amazing Light -- Practically Perfect In Every Way -- I'm Not Exaggerating
I've owned a LOT of lights -- more than 25 . I've been commuting and cycling competitively, day and night, rain or shine for 15 years. I know what works and what doesn't.This light is amazing. It has a good focus, good diffusion, and good color. The battery is great -- I used it for 4.5 hours riding at night from LA to San Diego without recharge.it's compact and solid. I had one fall off the bike twice at about 35 miles and hour and damage was minimal.I do have two complaints, which are acceptable. First, the little door covering the battery is fragile and easily lost. Secondly, the security screw on the mount can fall out and get lost. Get a spare.Anyone who rides even 5 minutes at night should have this light. Without a doubt it will save your life.

Good light
I have owned 2 prior models, but one of them finally stopped holding a charge, so I bought this one.Unfortunately, this one doesn't seem to hold a charge as long as my other light did when I first got it, but I think it's probably still within spec. It's not a completely fair comparison because my other light (same company, different model) operates at different lumen levels than this one. Additionally, the ride I take now for commuting is both longer and darker than previously, so I use a higher light setting than before, which will also affect the battery life.Anecdote -- I have 4 of the rear lights from this company, in part because we somehow washed one. Amazingly, the only thing washing it damaged was the battery. I replaced the battery and the whole thing still works. If I ever get more quantitative about it, I'll update the review.tl;dr - I like this company. They make good lights in my experience and had good customer support.

Liked it so much, I bought another.
This is a great light for night commuting and endurance training rides. The three modes are great for various conditions but I’d like to see a blinker/strobe mode for daytime awareness use. At high power you need to charge it daily. If you’re commuting and using the brightest mode, you may want to charge it between rides. I run it mostly at low power so I get 2-3, 20-mile rides. At pulse mode, I get 4-6 rides depending on the miles I’m logging.Very durable and versatile. I’ve dropped mine a couple of times and it’s not shown a scratch. They have a GoPro mount option I use on one of my bikes which allows me to swap this light between two bikes using the included mount on my other bike.Light & Motion’s customer service was very helpful when my plastic USB port cover broke after MANY charges. They sent me a free replacement.I liked this light so much I bought a second one for my son to use on his bike.

Product as advertised
I ride on the road early in the morning, and this light works quite well. The light has last for a full 1 1/2 hour ride on full power. The only issue I had was on my bike I hadn’t notice that the handle bars aren’t the same diameter through the whole length, so on the first bump the light shifted and pivoted up blinding me. I would buy this again

Needs improvement.
Great brightness for the size. Battery life is poor. You get maybe 3 short rides (under 10 miles). Before needing a recharge. Installation requires some effort as the strap is quite stiff and the tolerance, even with the light swiveled 90 degrees. Removing it is a real challenge. There are quick release mounts available as accessories, but I think it should be standard.

10 MONTH LIFE UNDER EXCELLENT CONDITIONS (RIP OFF)
For many months, since the time I bought the light, I thought I misremembered or didn't plug the charger in fully but no, this battery is dead and the light is useless (under 10 months). That aside, the lack of a strobe fxn is surprising as that is very useful/necessary for city biking — everything is already very lit, one just needs to get drivers' attention. Very much missed that fxn. For the record it is it is quite rainproof/water resistant and has a good solid feel but what good is nay of that with a malfunctioning, dead battery?

These lights are perfect!
I own several different lights and the light in motion lights work the best for me because of the mount, the ability to swivel easily, durability, no rattles and enough power that they can be used for several hours of riding at night.Exactly as described! fast shipping! Professional Service!

Excellent EDC Front Light
I love it. I bought this one to replace LiM light that got stolen, and I absolutely recommend it. It isn't the brightest light on the market, but I use it almost exclusively on the lowest setting (I think of it as 'stun'). I really like the small amber lights on the side. They pair really well with LiM's rear lights to make sure that you're visible to cross traffic and pedestrians.
