I use this wheat bag to help me get to sleep at night in spite of the arthritis in my spine

Only issue was when i started using it that it feels damp, have only started using it today so will see if its a constanti issue or just as its a new product. Take s a bit longer to worm up than the instructions state. I have a 700 watt micro and is should take 2 minutes to be ready, took nearer 4 minutes before is was warm enough to use. a minor issue in fairness.

I purchased one of the original WheatyBags for my girlfriend who is currently pregnant and has been experiencing some lower back pain. We have a plugin heat pad for use at home, but she found this great to use at both work or in the car.I can't really fault the product. You can certainly smell the heated wheat to start with, but after a few uses it seems to have faded. That or we've got used to it.I'm usually good at finding the cheapest price for products, so was a little annoyed with myself when I recently looked on their website (WheatyBags.co.uk) for other items and realised that I could have paid £9.95 + £1.95 p&p for two (buy one get one free). Were I purchasing again, I'd buy direct and get a second for the sake of an extra £1.

Got this after fracturing my shoulder and finding it painful when trying to sleep. This product was easy to wrap around my shoulder and upper arm and the filling remained well distributed. It did have a bit of an odd smell the first couple of times I used it but it has reduced over time and is not a problem. Now i no longer need to use it for my arm I find it makes a very handy "hot water bottle". I heat it to maximum (gets pretty hot) and lay it under the bedcovers. by the time I am ready to sleep the bed is nice and warm and the wheat bag has cooled enough to use it for my feet. it has the advantage of not feeling cold and clammy when it has cooled off, unlike a traditional hottie. I have found it stays at a good temperature for up to half an hour. I am very pleased with it

Had these before and used them a lot. They are good quality, durable and their simple shape and flexibility makes them effective in a number of different situations including sore necks, knees and wrists. In my experience they retain heat for about fifteen or twenty minutes after 70 seconds on high in the mocrowave. They can get pretty hot so it's a case of trial an error to determine how long is best to microwave them for you. Not used them cold. Would recommend. Useful to have a couple around.
