HairStay Anti-Humidity Seal

I put this to the test in the Dominican Republic- and it did wonders! I will say, I sprayed layers and layers all over my hair, but as someone who has regularly done this with other anti-humidity sprays with no luck in Southern US humidity- this actually worked without any crunch (which is what allows you to layer it on). I will say, it made my hair looking super duper greasy as I left the hotel room, and I styled my hair in waves to give it volume and mask how flat and greasy my hair looked right after a super deep wash. As the day progresses though, the greasy look leaves and you get a nice healthy looking shine. For reference, I am Dominican, I have curly hair and was using this on my straightened hair. This spray carried me through beach trips, multiple parties, riding around with the top down on super humid/rainy days, a wedding where I danced for like 3 hours straight, waking up the next morning to a hangover face, but perfect hair. Everyone else's hair was frizzy af. The best part is the curly hair at my hairline stayed soft and straight- this was a really good protective barrier which unlike other sprays relies on moisture to prevent humidity vs idk what other stuff. By the last day I ran out before I got to the top layer of my hair so I was able to compare the difference. While the bottom of my hair looked frizz free and shiny, the top half started to frizz immediately, and I looked a little crazy. I will probably stock up on this, as I live in NC and summers here shrink my hair length by about an inch when straightened.

My hairdresser started using this on my hair years ago and I’ve stuck with it ever since. I have naturally frizzy and wavy hair and I loved that this acts as a heat protectant and a humidity shield as well! It has a light scent to it which I actually don’t mind and does a great job at keeping my hair from getting unruly on humid days! There’s no hold as it doesn’t act like a hairspray but it sprays on beautifully without leaving your hair damp!

Love this! Not like hairspray. It isnt stiff, just smooths and protects from humidity.

I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it. I have fine curly hair that will frizz and curl up the second it senses humidity. I blew my hair out, gave it a good spray down with this and then ran the flat iron over it a bit. It didn’t stop my hair from curling back up in the humid air, but it’s worth a try. Might be better for someone with wavy or straight hair. It can make your hair greasy if you use too much!

Once I stopped coloring my hair and grew in my natural white hair, I began to have to battle the frizzies. Just the slightest touch of this spray gets rid of the frizz without greasiness. I'm not fond of the smell but it dissipates quickly. Use it sparingly and you will see the difference immediately.
