Mixed reviews on here so I thought I'd try myself as I consider myself tech say but I've spent hours on this box. The technology has great potential but the backup support from Matricom is lacking. They have now stopped the automatic updating by withdrawing their latest firmware upgrade which left my box unusable. After messing around and reverting back to the old firmware I can use the box but there are still a lot of bugs in the old version ...which is probably why they wanted to upgrade it. Matricom website doesn't provide any indication of the problems or when they might be resolved which doesn't bode well.I also bought the Xstreamtec air mouse which packed up after a couple of weeks and now won't do anything.....and try and find any website from the manufacturer or anyone who can help! Nothing....absolutely nothing all across the Internet. As I said the device has great potential so I'm sticking with it but those who want a plug and play better loom elsewhere.

I fought with this product for months - the apps are not TV optimised and hard to control, the pre-installed version of Kodi is old, the remote control range is limited, the interface could be so much better, it didn't sleep or wake up properly, it applied an update which I had to roll back due to instability and lately it can't connect to the update server. Here the thing, I work in IT, I hate to think what a non-IT person would cope with this.I don't often complain on here, but having wasted so much time trying to get this to work acceptably, I can conclude that it's garbageI saved up and replaced this with a Fire TV (4k version) and it blows it away in every department - I'd recommend that do yourself a favour, save yourself some money, time, and effort, and do the same.Avoid.

The first (and only I hope !! ) such device I have purchased. I am very pleased with it and the included air mouse - which is a must when downloading and then navigating the add-ons. Whilst there are cheaper products I feel this gives me value for money.

I rate this android box, very highly. it's very quick, navigates well and easy to update.

Good 6 months and still going strong. Love it and have recommended to friends.

Before you even consider this unit go to Matricom forumAnd read what this amateur company did......OTA update that can't be prevented, leaves the unit almost useless, also you'll never be able to power it down without under plugging it.If you buy as of 30.11.16. You will regret it....
