Works great!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve wanted an electric composter for so long but wasn’t sure if it’d be worth it or if I’d actually use it. I’m so glad I got this one. It’s fantastic! The large capacity is perfect, handling more waste than many others I looked at. I even added frozen veggies after draining the water, and it worked great. If you do traditional composting, you can also use this to speed up the process and reduce critters it may attract before it become compost. It’s super easy to use, with clear instructions and a user-friendly design. It handles food scraps well. If you’re on the fence about getting one, this one is absolutely worth it!

Great at breaking down but charcoal filler not strong enough
This composter breaks down everything I put in it very quickly and effectively. It does exactly as I would expect it to do. However, I had put some cauliflower in it, and as it was breaking it down my entire kitchen smelled of cauliflower. It’s the first time that happened with anything I put in there, and it was not pleasant.

Nothing goes to waste!
This electric composter takes your food scraps and turns it into fertilizer compost without the hassle of using a traditional composting bin. I've seen these and have always wanted to try one out. When I came across this one, I found it was a great value compared to others. It also has a built in charcoal filters to minimize the odor. I got this electric composter because I have tons of scraps from cutting herbs, veggies, and fruit. Honestly, I would never throw meat into a compost, that's really disgusting. But anything organic that I know will break down clean without leaving a terrible odor, I'm all for. I usually will have tons of apple cores, stone fruit cores/ seeds, squeezed lemon halves, lettuce leaves, potato and carrots peels, and lots and lots of herb stems from bushel-fulls of parsley, cilantro, and green onion bushels. I mean I have massive amounts of these since my family consumes a lot of herbs that we cook in stews. The settings on the machine is easy, and I personally do not like this in my kitchen, so I set this up in my garage. You need to have this continuously on and plugged in for it to do its job. So far, it's too soon to see how the fertilizer will be, but I'll be sure to update this post. So far, so good!

This works well
I put this on the counter and had to move things out of its way, but I got rid of the three plastic containers my husband was saving waste in for compost and the garbage company. It fit under my upper shelves, but you have to pull it out in order to remove the bucket of compost. I put all three plastic buckets in it the first night and set it to work. It was very quiet while it worked. It produced a nice bit of compost after several hours of quiet work. (see second picture) But it did smell. Not a terrible smell, just a warm green waste smell. We decided to put it out in the garage on top of the washing machine and that solved the problem. I am glad the plastic containers are reduced to one and that I am getting a bit of compost every other day. I am amazed at the things that it says it can compost (wood, plastic, paper, leaves, etc.) but I am sticking with kitchen waste for now and may branch out later. I like this machine.

Works really well but…
So far I’ve had this for about 10 days now and it works really well. You basically throw in all your food scraps turn it on and you get a fine mesh compost. The only thing is I live on an island and have a small condo The purchased this to help nourish my vertical garden. When I ordered it, I intended in keeping it in the kitchen where I could put my food wasted, however, this has an odor from the composting and while I really like it, it is not something I wanna keep with the kitchen. So I’ve had to keep this out by the laundry in order to keep it out of the weather and rain. It’s a nifty gadget and right now with $160 coupon, it’s not a bad buy. But I would recommend you think about where you’re going to keep the item unless you don’t minda smelly kitchen.
