Amazon Basics Outdoor Soccer Goal

All the pieces came nicely packed with the ends covered in cardboard to prevent any scratching of the paint. The tubes are painted silver and about 1 in diameter and very sturdy. Assembly requires no tools. All of the tubes are numbered and there is a diagram showing the order you put them in and they just snap together. If you want to disassemble it, there's a nice carrying bag so that you can take it to practice.The net secures with little velcro strips and there are plenty of extra included.The goal stood up well with the kids taking shots at it and the stakes kept it in the ground when the ball bounced off of it. It is heavy enough to be sturdy but light enough to put in the bag and carry to practice. It is the only metal 12x6 goal I could find that snaps together and can be brought to soccer practice or disassemble to bring inside at the end of the season I highly recommend it

For the price this is definitely worth it. The tubes do not fit very snug so the cross bar is a bit flimsy. I do not recommend to be used by adults. I will be using this with our U10 soccer team.Update: 11/5/18, i was able to use this during the summer and it worked perfect, id say better than expected. We practiced tuesdays and thursdays and everyday i would put it together and take it apart. The tubes held together very well even after all the usage we gave it. During a practice i even caught the kids hanging from the cross bar, i was afraid theyd bent it but nothing really happened to it. I highly recommend it to be used by youth teamsUpdate 9/22/2019: its been a year, the goals have been used heavily. I set them up and take them off every practice. Even the kids have learned to set them up. We bought a second one and now play full scrimmages agaisnt orher teams. I still think these a great for the value.

This was cheap enough that I bought it on a lark for my friend's kids, and it now surprisingly gets a ton of use. While not super sturdy, it is sturdy enough to match what I paid for the thing. You do have to build it yourself (which is fun with pictograms, similar to a noted Swedish chain). The pipes all fit together easily, like a pop-up tent. The net is a bit too small, and the velco fasteners let down the side, being both too small and not enough. So you may need to add a few zip ties, string or your own velco straps to really hang the net properly.That aside, the fun per dollar for this goal is very high, and I wish I bought it sooner.

It’s really easy to put together if you follow the instructions (once you find them in the box). It took 3 of us about 15-20 minutes to put it together. It took longest to put the net on. It’s larger than I expected. My grandson is 5’2” and an avid soccer player. It’s smaller than the regular goals he plays games on but still provides a good practice area. The cons are re: the net because the Velcro straps that hold it on aren’t strong enough. If the ball hits the net too hard they go flying off. You need about double the amount of straps or just use zip ties. Also it already (6 months later) has a rip in it. It would be better if it were made of nylon cord instead of what feels like a cotton cording. The stakes included really holds it in place well though.

A really well made and strong goal post with metal poles and a really good net. Comes with everything you need including velcro strips to tie the net to the post, 6 metal clips to hold the post to the ground and a good instruction book to assemble the goal post. I got the 12' x 6' post. Comes with a bag but not sure i will be using it. Probably once my son stops playing soccer and i can sell it in the bag. Just been less than a month and still winter here. Will post once we are in spring and we use it a lot more and see how it holds up.

Spring style push puns are used to retain the poles, which makes the final assembly very weak. I can see this lasting a little while, so long as your kids, neighbors and so on do not hang or use it as a jungle gym. I've kicked on my son and found the net to be pretty strong, no rips or tears and I do not take it easy on my boy. Overall- Good starter net for the price, I believe it will be rust resistant allowing it to stay outdoors. If your looking for longevity you will need to look elsewhere.

We got this during quarantine so we could have a large enough goal to shoot on. It works for my 12 yr olds. It was easy to set up, although the directions are just a picture so we were spatially challenged and did it wrong 4 times. It is a little flimsy and the net is held on with velcro that already broke. We have added zip ties as needed.

My son has been using this net 4-5 times a week for about 2 months now. He loves it, he can kick it hard and it stops the ball. The only downside is the Velcro straps break very easily, but they gave us a lot of them. More than likely I will switch to zip ties at some point. The net is great for the price, but it is not strong enough for your kid to hold onto the bar like the ones he typically plays on.
