Location Matters!
This TV antenna moderately priced and it is possibly good product. It did not work for me. However, it was extremely easy to assemble and all parts were marked. My conditions are as follows, 20 ft behind my house I have over 40Ft tall trees, not couple of them a small jungle. My house facing West and it is build on the side of a small hill. As far as according to bunch of websites all of the transmitting stations are north of me and approx. 50 to 60 mile away but not in a single spot. I placed the antenna on my roof, approx. 25ft off the ground and facing North. It did not receive any of the major networks such as Fox, CBS, ABC, NBC A few that I received signal, they were MyTv, Bounce, CTV, ID but none had a clear picture. Either snowing, or pixels all over the place. Or dish network during thunder storm. I guess is if you live somewhere without trees or hills almost flat and you are perhaps within 30 to 40 miles or less transmitting towers, you may be able to get great signal and not be slave to cable company. I hope this helps someone.

Solid, Easy to Install, Gave me 82 Channels
The media could not be loaded. I can't use the rooftop to install an antenna and I wanted to get more channels than my indoor antenna. This antenna is very solid and sturdy. I was able to install it easily on the wall behind my apartment. I'm on the first floor so I have difficulty getting channels because I am surrounded by tall buildings. When it comes to antennas, it's all about your location and how high the antenna is being installed. I'm within 50 miles of the towers but being on the first floor really limits the reception. The positioning of the antenna is also very important. I went online to antennasdirect to figure out the direction of the broadcasting towers. The fact that the pipe allows this antenna to not stick to the wall decreases the interference from the building electrical wires and allows some movement in positioning it towards left and right (horizontally). The pipe can also be positioned to stay up straight or at an angles vertically. In the past, I have tried installing thin indoor antennas outside but had to stick them to the wall and didn't get as much channel as I got with this one. I also like that the cable is not attached to the antenna not to the amplifier so they all can be detached when needed or replaced, otherwise, I couldn't pass the cable through the wall without making the hole in the wall bigger. After playing with the antenna for a little bit I was able to get 82 channels I even found 89 channels but I was not able to get channel 9 when I was getting 89 channels so I moved it such that I get channel 9 and I settled for 82 channels with channel 9. In my case, I was NOT able to get channels 11 & 13 which I was never able to get with any other antenna which I assume is the hight issue for me. Other than channels 11 & 13 I am getting pretty much all the main and big channels (in my video, you can see them all).

but not working any better than my old Antenna
I had high hopes for this antenna, but not working any better than my old Antenna. Major TV channels, ABC, CBS, NBC, transmitters are 28 miles away from my house. I mounted this antenna in my attic, 14 feet off the ground. The amplifier only doubles the gain, so if your gain is 2, it will be 4 thru the amplifier. Transmitters 30 miles away don’t make it to my TV. Looks like I will have to mount this attenia on the roof. I will come back and do another review. Tired of wasting money on false advertising. 180 mile range? Not in the attic.Ok, I mounted this Antenna on my roof, and the back where the mast mounts, is facing 150 degrees South, Southeast. All of the TV Transmitters are located approximately South of my house, between 21 and 31 miles away. All of the Major Channels are now visible except one, which is Fox 26 which is a UHF signal with a signal strength of 101 bduV/m. This transmitter is 31 miles away. Absolutely no signal with or without the signal Amplifier. I just had a new roof installed with Tech Shield Decking. Before the new decking I was able to pick up Channel 26 without any problem with an antenna inside the attic. This Antenna does not appear to be Ommidirectional. It definitely is not picking up signals 150 or 180 miles away. Now to be fair, the Houston / Katy, Tx area is flat, no hills, no mountains. This antenna is about 15 feet up off the ground. Final conclusion: Not As Advertised. I can watch Air TV again after the new Roof install. Disappointed that I can’t watch FOX Channel 26, as I was able to with an Antenna in the attic, before the Tech Shield. This is NOT a supper long range Antenna. Below Standard at best.

NOT 180 miles, 150 is what the box states
Description of the product is very misleading, CNN is only available via Cable or Satellite. Secondly it has a 150 mile range, and NOT 180 like it states on the description. Antenna is well made, reception is amazing.

Performed better than expected!
There were so many to choose from, but I chose this brand because it seemed to have some good reviews. You don't know if they are unsolicited or not. But, one thing a I can tell you, this unit is FANTASTIC! I had low expectations, but it exceeded my expectations and got more channels than I had ever realized there were out there. It was simple to assemble, simple to mount, and worked great! Would recommend to anyone interested in an HD exterior antenna.

Buy Buy Buy!!!
The only negative I have is the fact that amazon offered me this product at half price the very next day. I will say 60 bucks for this product is a great deal. 30 would ha e been better. I get NBC ABC FOX and CBS in high def plus the 60 or so affiliate xChannels like HSN and PBS. This is a surprise buy for anyone looking to cut the chord and is living in rural areas. I'm in Hart county Ga so my broadcast comes from Greenville and Taccoa. My indoor antenna w a booster that came w sling only recieved 2 HD it is a rca. The aesthetics are pleasing too. It's not an ugly big ass antenna. I would buy this product a million times over cause I love my football and a good deal.
