Brilliant JBL to add to the collection
I bought this mainly for holidays, days out and keeping in a bag, and it’s been brilliant. The size is what impressed me most. It’s genuinely compact and lightweight, yet somehow still manages to produce a surprisingly full and punchy sound.The integrated clip is really useful and makes it easy to attach to a backpack, beach bag or even a belt loop. I’ve used it outdoors several times and it’s had no problem filling a small area with music. Voices are clear, there’s plenty of volume, and the bass is far better than you’d expect from something this small.Battery life has also been excellent. I’ve gone several days between charges with casual use, and Bluetooth pairing has been quick and reliable every time.JBL seem to have nailed the balance between portability, durability and sound quality with this speaker. For the price, it’s an easy five stars from me. Highly recommended.

As expected great quality sound from such a small size, I bought 2 for both my kids and they love them, battery lasts good time and volume is to loud at times 😂 would recommend

Amazing sound quality at any volume. Super versatile as it fits in or clipped onto your bag, I take it everywhere with me. Connects easily and to multiple devices at once! Power lasts a decent amount of time. Best JBL I’ve ever owned, for the price this is an amazing purchase.

Great little speaker
Handy little speaker with good sound. Annoyingly no battery indicator sent to my iPhone, which other much older speakers do have. In the top right where it shows it’s connected to a Bluetooth speaker.

Highly recommended!
Sounds amazing for such a small package, it’s rugged too. I always throw it in my carry on case when travelling. Even at high volume it doesn’t distort and I don’t have to worry about splashes or moisture when using it in the shower. The ability to adjust EQ is a very nice touch!

Before buying this, I was lucky enough to test eight different models from various brands in the same category and price range, all on the same day and in the same environment. The JBL Clip 5 proved to be the most enjoyable in terms of frequency response, with no dramatic drop in the low end and no harsh resonances in the upper mids and highs. The dynamics are excellent and the stereo image has impressive depth for such a small speaker.The low end is boosted by default, but you can customise the EQ in the app, which is ideal for me as I prefer a fairly flat, unaltered sound. It’s also both waterproof and dust‑resistant; I’ve seen it playing flawlessly on a building site while completely covered in dirt and dust. Top‑notch.
